Face mask made of gelatin and milk for blackheads

Hello, dear readers! I really love homemade cosmetics for their reliability, naturalness, predictability and effectiveness. But this product, which I discovered quite recently, exceeded all expectations. I hasten to share with you an incredible recipe. The hero of today's article is a gelatin face mask.

Depending on the fillers, one targets blackheads, others moisturize, and some provide a lifting effect and smooth out fine wrinkles - all from a regular food product.

Composition of gelatin or some useful information

Gelatin (or hydrolyzed collagen protein, which we discussed in detail in this article) is a food product of animal origin. When purified and dried, it appears as colorless or pale yellow crystals with a neutral odor. For its production, bones, cartilage and tendons of cattle, as well as fish bones are used. Gelatin contains:

  • proteins fats carbohydrates;
  • amino acids;
  • starch;
  • ash;
  • biologically significant elements (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, iron);
  • water.

Vegetable gelatin substitutes - pectin and agar-agar are made from brown and red seaweed, but we are now interested in a natural product of animal origin.

Collagen (fibrillar protein) forms the basis of connective tissue, which accounts for more than 50% of a person’s weight. In addition to its other responsibilities, it is responsible for the strength, firmness and elasticity of the skin.

Hydrolyzed collagen (without carbohydrates and fats) is better absorbed by the body. It provides effective care for problematic as well as mature skin. Alas, after 25-27 years, the body’s production of collagen slows down, so you will have to take the initiative into your own hands.

His Majesty - gelatin

It turns out that you don’t need to look for a miracle cure in the thirtieth kingdom. Almost every housewife has this most common and at the same time downright magical substance - gelatin. What are its unique properties and features? To do this, you can simply look at the composition of any care cream.

Almost all of these products, and especially those that are more expensive, contain collagen (a protein that helps restore the skin and maintain the firmness and elasticity of the dermis). And collagen, in fact, is pure gelatin, the only difference is that in cosmetic preparations the collagen is natural, hydrolyzed.

A rejuvenating face mask made from gelatin, prepared at home, has an extraordinary lifting effect, which manifests itself after the first use of this miracle product. Gelatin can also transform skin that is beginning to fade into radiant and youthful.

In home cooking, gelatin is used to prepare jellied meats, jellies, and jellied dishes. The confectionery industry uses gelatin in the production of sweets, cakes, chewing gum, candied fruits and other goodies. And few people know that gelatin, originally extracted from animal bones by the French chemist Jean Darcet, was used to feed the poor and sick in government institutions.

Today, this substance is also produced from animal bones, sinews, cartilage and skin. And the scope of its application goes far beyond the food industry. Gelatin is an essential component of many medical and cosmetic preparations. And that is not all. Gelatin contains many amino acids that are essential for our skin, including:

  1. Glycine. Natural doctor. It heals abrasions and cuts, restores damaged epidermal cells.
  2. Asparagine. Promotes the production of elastin in the body and restoration of the skin.
  3. Proline. A substance that regulates water balance has a beneficial effect on skin condition.
  4. Glutamine. A natural source of energy that gives natural strength to cells.
  5. Alanine. Natural skin barrier against infections, bacteria and viruses.

It probably makes no sense to list all the beneficial substances, vitamins and microelements contained in gelatin. This entire storehouse of useful substances will be presented to your skin with a gelatin mask.

At home, you can give yourself a real threadlift, that is, a modern facial rejuvenation procedure using nanotechnology.

Before making a mask, we study the recommendations

There are a number of rules that must be followed in order for the result to please us:

  • We use only natural products (not synthetic) with a valid shelf life . Fresh gelatin should be light yellow in color and odorless.
  • Before starting the procedure, steam your face over a container of hot water, covered with a thick towel. You can add a tablespoon of some medicinal herb to the water - string, chamomile, linden, calendula, etc. We focus on your skin type.
  • The mixture for the mask should be warm . If time is lost and the composition begins to harden, you need to slightly heat it in a water bath.
  • Apply the composition along the massage lines with a brush or fingertips.
  • Do not apply the mixture to the area around the eyes! It is better to immediately lubricate these delicate areas with nourishing or regular baby cream to mark the forbidden territory.
  • To avoid painful sensations during film removal, you do not need to apply the composition to places where there may be hairs (eyebrows, above the upper lip, at the border with the scalp).
  • You can apply the mask only to problem areas - for example, forehead, cheeks, nose, chin.
  • In order for the composition to lay evenly and neatly, you do not need to talk or smile while applying the mixture.
  • Keep the composition on your face for no more than 30 minutes.
  • Before applying the mask to your face, apply the composition to your wrist (for 10-15 minutes) to make sure that you are not allergic to any component.
  • Carefully remove the film so as not to cause skin irritation. Residues can be easily removed with warm water. Then rinse your face with cold water or wipe it with a piece of ice (to close the pores ).
  • If the film is difficult to remove, you can apply fatty cosmetic milk or cream with a swab. In a couple of minutes everything will come off without any problems.
  • After the procedure, it is advisable to apply a nourishing cream .

After the course of procedures, we take a two-month break (it can be longer if the achieved result continues to please).

The effectiveness of homemade masks against blackheads

Homemade masks for acne skin are useful in many ways:

Regarding the first point, if you have acne, you need to exclude all fatty foods, alcohol, coffee and fast foods from your diet. It is advisable to drink more clean water. Caring for problem skin includes cleansing and moisturizing. It is good to use gels, masks and scrubs for cleansing. As moisturizers, it is better to give preference to light soothing creams, replacing with them more fatty nourishing products.
