What, why and why...
My skin is harmful and capricious. Sensitive, dehydrated and oily at the same time. Pimples, clogged pores. At the moment (ugh, ugh, ugh) the condition of my skin makes me happy, there is progress. And not without the help of acid care. But Cora's mask has nothing to do with it.
After reading, watching and being inspired by the effect of acids on problem skin, I started hunting for them... First I bought the Exfoliak series from Norev, then I bought the Aven acid scrub, and then I decided to try the famous one - the Cora mask with acids. I don’t know why I took it, probably the thought that I still hadn’t tried it haunted me.
That’s how I got this domestic acid mask.
I’ll say right away: in comparison with other acid masks I’ve tried, Cora at first seemed very effective and efficient to me. It tingled noticeably during the procedure, something that other masks practically did not give me.
After rinsing off, I did not notice any redness or burns. The skin was soft and clean, but nothing more. The mask does not give instant results. For results you need a course of procedures (1-2 times a week depending on skin type). But I couldn’t even take one systematic course.
After each use of the mask, I developed painful, purulent inflammations. I didn’t attach much importance to it and didn’t connect it with the mask. Well, acne and pimples happen. Naturally, each time I waited until they passed so that I could apply the mask again (after all, using a mask during acne exacerbation is prohibited, otherwise the acids will corrode the inflamed area and the infection will spread throughout the skin). However, this happened again and again... After each use, the next day I found 2-3 pimples on my face. The course was constantly interrupted.
I used the mask less and less. And when, after a month-long break from the mask, having healed all the pimples and making sure that there were no new ones, there had been none for a long time and was not expected, I again used the services of the Cora mask. The result and the understanding that the mask did not suit me did not take long to arrive. New, unpleasant inflammatory elements.

This type of inflammation is the most disgusting for me. These are not internal pimples whose activity can be waited out. These are sick, purulent external ones that spoil the appearance, the contents of which just beg to come out, and then the traces do not go away for a long time.
It was enough for me 5-7 times. I haven’t used the mask again and don’t want to. A couple of months have passed since the last use, I recorded the “results”, but I didn’t take a traditional photo with the mask, sorry. I will not use this mask on my face again.
What did I expect from the Cora cream mask?
Gradual cleansing of clogged pores, i.e. promised smoothing of skin texture. I also wanted to moisturize, lighten post-acne and skin in general, give elasticity and smoothness.
What did I get?
In fact, nothing positive. After the mask, the skin is soft, but the mask does not dissolve the contents of the pores, and cleaning is no easier. The mask does not moisturize or cleanse the skin. I don’t know if I’m allergic to the components, or intolerant to acids, or just a bad mask, but whatever happened, happened. I can’t recommend it and overrate it, even if I’m 1 out of 100 who didn’t like it and I just have an individual reaction.
How to apply, how to wash off, how long to walk...
Acidic products are recommended to be applied to dry skin or slightly moisturized skin. The mask is applied in a thin layer, evenly. How long to wear a mask is a matter of individual preference. If it stings too much, wash it off after 2-3 minutes. If it doesn't sting too much, you can walk for up to 10 minutes.
While the mask is on the skin, it tingles, tickles, and it feels like the skin is being gently corroded by the mask. You want to scratch your skin both when the mask is on the skin and after washing it off.
The mask does not dry quickly on the skin, does not flow, or crumbles.
The mask washes off easily. After rinsing off, I personally never experienced any redness or burns. But, in general, this is possible.
Is everything so hopeless?
I gave the mask to my mother; her skin already shows age-related changes (wrinkles, age spots). She likes the mask, but it doesn’t give it the wow effect. It’s good that it doesn’t make things worse, as in my case.
I do not recommend the Bark mask with fruit acids. I can’t understand... either SHE is bad and ineffective, or she is serious, professional and of high quality, and I just couldn’t find an approach to her. In any case, it showed negative results on my skin. I can’t know what will happen to your skin after this mask. So many good reviews about the miraculous effect of this mask were written for a reason. But in my case she made a mistake, and you need to keep in mind that this can happen.
