The ABC Peeling deep skin cleansing program of the EXPERT series is well-deservedly popular among Faberlic fans. Of course, it suits literally everyone, instantly making the skin smooth and radiant! Faberlic Chief Cosmetologist Rimma Korneeva will tell us about the nuances of its use.

Faberlic Country: It is believed that peelings cannot be done in the summer, you have to wait until the fall... Why? Rimma Korneeva: In summer, the sun is too active, and the acids in peelings affect the upper layer of the epidermis, making the skin especially sensitive to direct sunlight. The case may end with hyperpigmentation at a minimum. In general, a deep skin cleansing program should be carried out two to three times a year, but during cool periods. So autumn is a great time for peeling. Сf: The EXPERT series is conceived as an analogue of salon procedures. What are the similarities and differences between salon peeling and the ABC peeling program? R.K.: I'll start with the similarities. Both salon peeling and our program are aimed at obtaining an intense, quick effect of renewing the skin's surface. Most often, deep cleansing is used after the age of forty to eliminate obvious signs of skin aging. Due to what? By removing the top layer of the epidermis, we send a signal for regeneration into the deeper layers of the skin. An intensive process of cell renewal begins. In addition, by removing the dead surface layer of the epidermis, we also partially “remove” wrinkles and slightly smooth the skin. At the same time, its uneven tone is eliminated. As a result, the deep cleansing procedure allows you to transform tired skin into radiant and smooth. As for the differences, when you go to a salon for peeling, the cosmetologist will use more concentrated AHA acids (15-20 percent). EXPERT series peeling products use a more delicate concentration of glycolic acid – 9%, which allows you to use them at home, independently, without risk. Sf: What should you do if the use of our peeling causes a burning sensation on the skin? This is not dangerous? R.K: Is a slight burning sensation on the skin an absolutely normal sensation? The fact is that peeling is partly a diagnostic procedure. Where the skin tingles a little after applying the product, the epidermal barrier is broken. This is a reason to think about how to restore it in the future... Cf: The deep skin cleansing program is suitable for absolutely all ages, but there are some differences in application patterns. Why? R.K.: It all depends on the problem that needs to be solved... So, at the age of 20+ , the ABC Peeling program is aimed at solving problems associated with oily skin, acne and post-acne. The program will help remove hyperkeratosis, narrow pores, smooth out stagnant spots and scars... Plus, the acidic environment of glycolic acid kills pathogenic microflora. This is especially important if there is a tendency to inflammatory elements. At the age of 30+ , as a rule, the first wrinkles already appear on the face, so the scheme of application of the program is aimed at maintaining youthful skin and preventing aging. This is such a light stimulation of cells, a “revitalizing” procedure that will help even out skin tone and smooth out wrinkles a little. In the case of age 40+, the main goal of the program is intensive rejuvenation. We need to “remove” the surface layer of skin so that a new one can form in its place. Sf: Why is it so important to follow a certain sequence of application of the program drugs? R.K.: Because the effectiveness of the entire procedure depends on this. How do the drugs in the program work? They enhance each other's action and work interconnectedly. Thus, a mixture of glycolic and lactic acids in the “Chemical peeling” (Step A) dissolves intercellular “cement” - lipids, “gluing bricks”, that is, dead skin cells. Keratolytic enzymes as part of “Microdemabrasion and enzyme micropeeling” (Step B) “cut into pieces” or, as cosmetologists say, “pinch” the keratin protein, which makes up old cells. Then diatoms (hard flint particles of the same size) mechanically remove all excess from the skin. Step C, Sensitive Skin SOS Therapy & Repair Cream SPF 8 , soothes and protects the skin after we have thoroughly cleansed it. Sf: Some people believe that completing the SOS Therapy Cream program is not at all necessary; you can do without it... R.K.: I wouldn’t skimp on the health of my skin. The cream contains a calming Calmosensine complex, which stimulates the synthesis of pro-endorphins (“happiness hormones”). This helps relieve discomfort and reduces the skin's susceptibility to irritation. In addition, “SOS therapy” contains a combination of three oils that restore the skin on three sides at once. Medulactone, a component of limnanthes flower oil, is absolutely similar to skin lipids, therefore it perfectly “patches” damaged areas. Macadamia oil (the lightest cosmetic oil) penetrates deeply into the skin and nourishes it. And shea butter, which has an excellent softening and moisturizing effect, protects the skin on the surface. Сf: How to combine the ABC peeling program with other EXPERT series programs? R.K.: All other facial care programs are combined with this program; they can be carried out in parallel. The only thing I would like to note is that deep cleansing of the skin is best done at night.

Expert cosmetics series from Faberlic

Question: Please tell me, at what age can I use enzyme micropeeling? What do you need to know when using it?

Expert answer: Microdermabrasion and enzyme micropeel (art. 1023) with enzymes from tropical fruits and diatoms is the second step in the skin renewal program, although many use the product instead of a scrub (and this is also possible, since it combines the effect of mechanical grinding and enzyme peeling).

What effect is achieved with regular use? The product evens out the surface of the skin, exfoliates dead cells, revitalizes complexion, deeply cleanses pores, stimulates the regeneration process and renewal of skin cells, eliminates skin flaking after chemical peeling

How to use: Apply to well-cleansed, damp skin of the face, neck and décolleté. Massage with your fingertips for 1-2 minutes, then rinse with warm water and apply SOS Therapy and Repair Cream for Sensitive Skin. Do not apply to the eye area or lips. For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to use after Chemical peeling with AHA acids (Step 1).

Age 20+: carry out the procedure no more than 1-2 times a week. Age 30+: regular skin care 1-2 times a week. Age 40+: the first 5 procedures – daily, then – every other day. Course – 5-10 procedures.

Question: Is it possible to remove acne marks with Faberlic products?

Answer: Yes you can. A comprehensive program with Expert series AHA acids will help you.

Step 1. Chemical peeling with AHA acids (art. 1031 or 1068).

Apply the gel to the entire surface of the facial skin along the massage lines with your fingertips, lightly massaging the skin. Avoid getting the gel on the area around the eyes and mucous membranes, and do not apply the gel on the lips. After 5-10 minutes, rinse the gel with warm water using a sponge and blot the skin with a napkin or towel. Exposure time: 5-10 minutes.

For thin and sensitive skin, you should start from 1 minute, gradually, from procedure to procedure, increasing the exposure time to 10 minutes. If there is no discomfort and the skin is well adapted, then the exposure time can be immediately increased to 10 minutes.

Note!

  • When using the drug, a slight burning sensation, redness and tingling of the skin may occur. In case of a severe reaction, the drug should be washed off immediately with cool water.
  • In case of contact with eyes or nasal mucous membranes, rinse immediately with cool water.
  • After 2-5 procedures, peeling of the skin may occur - this is its normal reaction to chemical peeling - this is how the skin is freed from old unnecessary cells. In this case there is no need to cancel the procedure.

Step 2. Smoothing and exfoliation of the skin surface - microdermabrasion and enzyme micropeeling (art. 1023 or 1069).

Apply a small amount of micro-peel to well-cleansed, damp skin of the face and neck. Using your fingertips, massage the area in the cheek area (from the chin to the temples) and the forehead area (from the middle to the temples) with light rotational movements. Using vigorous rubbing movements, treat the nose, sides of the nose and chin area. Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat your skin dry with a napkin or towel.

Exposure time: from 1 to 2 minutes in each zone (depending on the condition of the skin and its sensitivity).

Note!

  • If the product gets into your eyes or nasal mucous membranes, rinse immediately with cool water.
  • Do not perform microdermabrasion for more than 2 minutes in each of the designated areas.

Step 3. Restore skin balance after chemical peeling and microdermabrasion. Skin protection. SOS therapy and restoration for sensitive skin (art. 1022 or 1070).

Apply the cream along the massage lines and spread it with light movements over the entire surface of the facial skin.

Question: Is it possible to use chemical peeling with AHA acids, microdermabrasion and enzyme micropeeling, SOS therapy cream in the summer? Will age spots appear?

Expert Answer: Exfoliating programs are not recommended during active sun exposure. The best time for such procedures is September-April. If you really want to do a peeling program, you must then actively protect yourself from the sun. It is better to use the products in the evening. Exposure time - from 5 to 10 minutes. depending on skin sensitivity.

Remember that after peeling you need to protect your skin with sunscreen with SPF 30, avoid direct sunlight on your face, and even more so avoid beach tanning (a hat, baseball cap, sunglasses, etc. are required).

Question: Is it possible to use chemical peeling + microdermabrasion if there is a vascular network on the face?

Expert answer: The chemical peeling program can be used for rosacea. Recommendations: 1-2 times a week, 10 procedures for 5 minutes. After the procedure, be sure to apply a revitalizing course of “Oxygen Mesotherapy” (art. 1029), this product contains a high concentration of vitamin C, which helps strengthen the walls of blood vessels.

If you go outside on sunny days, we recommend using sunscreen with SPF 30 or 35.

Question: Please tell us about the “Circular Plastic” cream (art. 1078)? How to use it correctly and what can it be combined with?

Expert answer: Face and neck cream “Circular plastic” from the Expert series (art. 1078) tightens and strengthens facial contours, increases resistance to mechanical stress. Prevents sagging of the lower cheeks and chin, prevents deformation of the oval of the face. Returns skin elasticity, density and tone.

The Novaftem-O2 oxygen complex enhances the effect of all active ingredients. Activates local microcirculation, stimulates skin regeneration, and actively participates in collagen synthesis.

Papilactyl D ® – a patented complex of ground almond oligosaccharides, supports the architecture of the papillary dermis and restores the synthesis of collagens responsible for skin elasticity ; prevents skin deformation and the appearance of deep wrinkles; restores the level of highly elastic oxytalan fibers, on which skin elasticity significantly depends.

Basaline® is a rejuvenating complex made from barley malt extract that increases the synthesis of the adhesive protein laminin, the content of which in the skin decreases by almost 2 times with age. Laminin, “gluing” collagen fibers and the basement membrane of the epidermis together, reduces sagging skin and improves its tone .

Wheat gluten hydrolyzate instantly tightens facial contours, smoothing out wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the skin matrix and is absolutely necessary to maintain its tone, elasticity and hydration.

Recommended for all skin types. Directions for use: Apply the cream daily to cleansed skin of the face and neck. The recommended course is at least 60 days. Can be used between courses in the Anti-age, Rala, Premium series care program.

The program “Strengthening the oval of the face”: effective for skin that loses its elasticity due to age-related changes or under the influence of environmental factors.

  • Apply a few drops of active collagen serum .
  • “Circular Plastic” face and neck cream (art. 1078) to the same areas .
  • Duration of the program: every evening for 60 days.

Program “Effective correction of wrinkles”

  • Apply con (1060) or deep wrinkle corrector serum (1063).
  • After 10-15 minutes, apply the “Circular Plastic” cream.
  • As a result , the elasticity and firmness of the skin will increase, the oval of the face will become more toned, and the skin will become smoother.
  • Duration of the program: at least 60 days.

Question: I am 18 years old, can I use the Expert series (chemical peeling with AHA acids and cream to reduce pore size). And how to use them at this age?

Expert's answer: You can use a cream to reduce pore size at any age if your pores are really enlarged and it bothers you. It should be used as usual, after thoroughly cleansing the skin. The cream should be applied morning and evening.

As for the chemical peeling program with AHA acids (art. 1031+1023), it gives effective results with the complex use of products and the required frequency of use.

You are recommended to use the products once a week or as needed if you need to instantly improve your complexion. Exposure time - from 5 to 10 minutes. depending on skin sensitivity. It is better to use the products in the evening. Remember that after peeling you need to protect your skin with sunscreen with SPF 30 and avoid direct sunlight on your face.

Question: I would like to learn more about the Faberlic drug for narrowing pores. What is the degree of its effectiveness and principle of operation? What do you need to know before you start using Faberlic cream to reduce pore size?

Cream for reducing pore size from the Expert series (art. 1017) acts on the very cause of the appearance of enlarged pores. Sebum, dirt, remnants of decorative cosmetics accumulate in them, the edges of such pores are roughened skin ridges, due to which the pores cannot close and remain open all the time.

The cream controls the process of keratinization around the pores and softens the rough surface. Freed from the hard shell, the cells regain the ability to divide and gradually “close” the edges of the pore. At the same time, the skin does not stretch, but maintains elasticity. Pore “craters” disappear, the skin surface is evened out.

All this happens thanks to the extract of Japanese rose (Rosa Multiflora Thunberg), which is very widely used in folk medicine in East Asian countries (Japan, Korea, East China). Dried ripe rose fruits are called "Eijitsu" in Japan. They are traditionally used as a cleansing agent and are included in the Japanese Pharmacological List.

Rose extract affects specific enzymes that regulate the process of keratinization (skin roughening) around the pores and prevent the formation of a hyperkeratotic ridge around the perimeter of the pores. The effectiveness of the drug was clinical: cases of cure were more than 50%.

The cream reduces the size and diameter of pores, controls the process of keratinization of the skin around pores, softens and smoothes rough surfaces, regulates the secretion of sebaceous glands, frees pores from contents, and gradually “tightens” pores

Directions for use: Apply the cream twice a day to areas with enlarged pores (forehead, nose, chin) or to the entire surface of the facial skin. The recommended course is at least 30 days.

Question: After using a cream to reduce pore size, a client experiences severe redness for several hours. Could such a reaction be normal and is this cream harmful for people suffering from rosacea?

Expert's answer: The skin reaction is naturally abnormal. It can occur in two cases: if there are signs of demodicosis, or if the skin is hypersensitive and its protective barrier is broken. Cuperosis is a consequence of various problems that cause fragility of blood vessels. Spider veins and networks of dilated capillaries appear in sensitive areas.

Therefore, to begin with, I recommend taking up strengthening blood vessels - from a therapeutic and cosmetic point of view. We can recommend you any cream containing Novaftem O2 and vitamin C. They will strengthen small blood vessels. We have vitamin C in almost all products, and in two forms - fat-soluble and water-soluble. In addition, these variants of vitamin C are contained in particularly high concentrations in the “Oxygen Mesotherapy” preparation (art. 1029). This remedy has an excellent anti-rosacea effect.

Question: Does the Expert invisible concealer care for the skin of the eyelids or is it just a decoration for important meetings?

Expert's answer: Invisible eyelid concealer Expert series (art. 1025) is not a “decoration”, but a real and very effective cream.

— It instantly fills and smoothes out the network of small wrinkles under the eyes, evens out the surface of the skin. — Lightens under-eye circles, leaves the skin matte and velvety. — Does not contain tinting additives, can be used as a base for makeup. — Ideal also for the winter season, as the concealer protects the delicate skin of the eyelids from loss of moisture and cold air.

Recommended for use from 25 years of age.

ABC Series Questions

Question: One of my friends says that chemical peeling, which our consultants recommend, is not suitable for everyone and that enzyme peeling is better than chemical peeling. Is it true? And what is the difference between the 2 types of peeling?

Faberlic Chief Cosmetologist Rimma Korneeva answers

Let's start with the last part of the question - chemical peels consist of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). Enzymatic or enzymatic, as the name suggests, comes from enzymes that are isolated from various plants (for example, the enzyme papain from papaya) or even from the walls of yeast (the enzyme keratolin). But these two peels differ not only in their “origin”. They work differently. Acid or chemical peeling destroys the intercellular “cement,” thus facilitating the process of exfoliation of dead skin cells, which, under the influence of this “cement,” eventually form a “crust” that interferes with the life of young cells and spoils our complexion. And enzymatic peeling “cuts” these cells into small pieces or, as cosmetologists say, “cuts them into fragments.” Thus, we are dealing with two different operating principles, which, however, perfectly complement and enhance each other , as you can see for yourself by purchasing a three-stage peeling (1068-1070) from the Expert line. Step A is a chemical peel, Step B is an enzymatic peel. However, as your friend rightly noted, there are people for whom chemical peeling is too aggressive. It should not be used by those who have demodicosis, inflammatory elements on the skin or a tendency to allergies, as well as during periods of active sun. Peeling has no other contraindications. If you or someone you know is at risk, use only enzyme peeling - it is more delicate. In the Faberlic collection you will find it in the “Microdermabrasion and Enzyme Micropeeling” Expert (1069) .
