Cosmetics against cellulite. How effective is anti-cellulite cream with aminophylline?

Cellulite can appear not only in those who are overweight. This problem also occurs in slender girls and those who play sports. The appearance of cellulite is caused by various factors: hormonal imbalances in the body, bad habits, poor environment, sedentary work, poor diet, stress.

Getting rid of the “orange peel” is extremely difficult, and if you start the fight at an advanced stage, it is often not possible to completely remove cellulite. Sometimes the anti-cellulite program uses drugs that are originally produced for the treatment of completely different diseases. An example of such a drug is aminophylline.

What is aminophylline?

Aminophylline (aminophylline) belongs to the group of adenosinergic drugs. In medicine, it is widely used to treat pathologies of the bronchi and lungs. It has a complex effect on the body:

  • relaxes the fibers of muscle tissue, thanks to the theophylline included in the composition (a “relative” of one of the components of coffee beans);
  • tone the heart muscle;
  • is a diuretic, i.e. diuretic.

However, as it turned out, that’s not all! At the end of the 20th century, a scientist from Louisiana discovered the fat-burning properties of the drug. Throughout the 70-80s of the last century, research was actively carried out in this area. In the end, the fact of the effect was confirmed - more than 80% of the “test subjects” actually lost weight and gained toned skin. Since then, aminophylline began to be widely used in cosmetology.

Dimexide for cellulite

Dimexide is a drug that is used in medicine as a conductor. It quickly delivers the necessary substances under the skin, which increases their effectiveness. Dimexide cannot affect the breakdown and stagnation in adipose tissue. As a means to get rid of cellulite, Dimexide is best combined with any anti-cellulite cream.

Dimexide is a medicinal allergen, so there is no need to combine it with drugs and substances similar in their principle of action. Otherwise, an allergic or inflammatory process may begin.

Release form of Dimexide

Dimexide can take the form of ointments or suppositories, but more often it is a light liquid mixture with an unusual odor. This is a concentrated solution, which, when used against cellulite, is diluted with water. The composition contains the substance dimethyl sulfoxide, which has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.

Mechanism of action and scope of application of Dimexide

Dimexide has a wide spectrum of action:

  1. Elimination of dangerous bacteria and viruses.
  2. Local decrease in sensitivity and pain.
  3. Healing of wounds.
  4. Reducing any manifestations of the inflammatory process - swelling, pain, redness.

To obtain the desired effect when using Dimexide against cellulite, it is necessary to use the product in combination with other medications. Dimexide increases the passage of necessary substances through skin cells, which is why it began to be used in cosmetology. The most common ways to use dimexide are solution and ointment. Basic recipes:

  • Dilute the concentrated solution with plain water and place a cloth in it. Give it a chance to soak, then put it on the problem area and hold for 30-40 minutes. For visible results, this procedure must be carried out at least 10-15 times.
  • Mix half a tube of cream (regular or anti-cellulite) and 10 ml of dimethyl sulfoxide. Apply the resulting mass before going to bed or playing sports.

There will be no result from carrying out such events once; only a systematic approach and comprehensive treatment will help in the fight against pathology.

Release forms

Aminophylline can be found in four forms:

  • tablets (packs of 20 or 30 tablets);
  • ampoules for intravenous injection (10 ampoules of 5 mg or 10 mg);
  • solution for intramuscular injection (10 ampoules of 5 mg and 10 mg);
  • cream.

For the anti-cellulite effect, only external use of the drug is required. The concentration of theophylline (active ingredient) in ampoules is higher, so their contents can be used for massages.

Principle of action against cellulite

The excitement around the anti-cellulite effect of aminophylline prompted the manufacturer to come up with the idea of producing the drug in the form of a cream. The components included in its composition affect the subcutaneous layer and burn deposits accumulated in it.

The effectiveness of aminophylline depends on the severity of cellulite. In the early stages, the effect is noticeable after 10 days.

What is the principle of action of aminophylline on subcutaneous fat?

  1. It triggers drainage processes in tissues. The substances in the cream irritate the skin, increasing blood flow to the top layer.
  2. Enriches the blood with oxygen. It was previously mentioned that aminophylline tones the heart muscle. Due to this, the number of red blood cells in the blood increases, which means healthy microcirculation occurs.
  3. Breaks down fats.
  4. Extra pounds are lost not only due to the breakdown of fats, but are also eliminated along with fluid from the body. The diuretic effect enhances this process. At the same time, waste and toxins are removed from the body.

Understanding Cellulite

The reasons for the changes occurring in the subcutaneous fat, mainly in the thighs, buttocks and anterior abdominal wall, have not been fully elucidated. Preference is given to a multifactorial hypothesis that takes into account the hormonal, metabolic and structural characteristics of cellulite. However, the mechanisms of its development are known. The division into forms and stages is based on their understanding.

Principles of development mechanisms

Adipose tissue consists of small fat cells that are penetrated by nerve fibers, as well as blood and lymphatic capillaries, through which broken down fats enter and are carried out of the cells. The latter are grouped into lobules surrounded by connective tissue septa and collagen fibers. The processes of inflow and outflow of blood and lymph, the breakdown of fats are carried out using nervous regulation.

The mechanism of cellulite formation is conventionally divided into 4 stages, which are characterized by certain changes:

Skin and subcutaneous fat tissue are normal

Stage I - edematous. The primary disorder is considered to be a violation of the regulation of contractions of the muscle layer of the capillary walls and precapillary sphincters. This leads to a decrease in blood outflow, a slowdown in the speed of blood flow in the partitions between cells and lobules, in the lobules themselves and the blood vessels communicating with them in the dermis itself. As a consequence, there is an increase in pressure in small vessels and the release of fluid into the intercellular space, attracting water by glycosaminoglycans included in the structure of the vascular wall. Thus, tissue swelling occurs.

II - stage of compaction. The resulting edema leads to compression of the capillaries and further disruption of blood flow, a decrease in the supply of oxygen and the accumulation of under-oxidized metabolic products, which contributes to inflammation, a slowdown in the breakdown of fats and their even greater accumulation in adipocytes, dilation of small vessels (telangiectasia), rupture of capillaries, and destructuring of collagen fibers.

Stages 1-2 of cellulite

Stage III - liposclerosis. The processes listed above lead to the union of fat cells into even larger conglomerates, separated by partitions of fibrous (scar) tissue. It grows, gradually replacing elastic connective tissue (liposclerosis). Large associations of fat cells and rough fibrous septa compress lymphatic and blood capillaries and lead to further disruption of blood flow and lymphatic drainage, increased swelling and increased inflammatory processes. The connection between skin capillaries and subcutaneous tissue vessels entails negative changes in the skin.

Stage IV - stage of indurative cellulite. It is characterized by pronounced skin changes and muscle dystrophy, pain and sometimes the formation of ulcerative processes.

Indications and contraindications

Indications for the use of aminophylline are diseases of the respiratory system - pulmonary and bronchial. However, we are interested in its completely different properties. If you decide to use aminophylline in the form of serum, gel or cream, then the only indication is “orange peel” and the inconvenience associated with it.

As for contraindications, the list is wider. The drug should not be used if:

  • presence of allergic reactions to components;
  • peptic ulcer of the duodenum or stomach;
  • inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • pathologies of the cardiovascular system (including arrhythmias);
  • pathologies of the urinary system;
  • colds;
  • increased body temperature;
  • prostate diseases.

As for the “interesting situation,” experts explain that taking aminophylline is possible in later stages. In the first trimester, use is prohibited as it may pose a threat to the mother and child. If the need to take the drug arose in the second or third trimester, the risks are reduced. Before use, be sure to consult your doctor!

Combination with other drugs

Eufillin is not combined with enterosorbents and anti-diarrhea drugs. The active substance must be absorbed into the internal tissues in the required quantity to begin to act.

Taking analgesics, hormones and drugs that stimulate the central nervous system will also have to be postponed during the course of aminophylline. Combining them may lead to increased side effects. Eufillin is good in combination with cosmetic wraps, massage oils and serums with a modeling effect.

Recommendations for use

For cellulite, you can use Aminophylline in any of the formulations. Creams with theophylline, designed specifically for this purpose, should be rubbed into problem areas with massage movements. The procedure is performed in a course of 10 days. Many argue that a more lasting effect can be achieved if you use ampoules.

Let’s make a reservation right away: there is no need to inject anything anywhere. The solution from the ampoules is applied externally. For such a “magical” massage you will need a base to which the contents of the ampoule are added. You can use any vegetable oil as a base: coconut, shea butter, olive and even regular sunflower. To enhance the effect, aminophylline can be added directly to the anti-cellulite cream.

So, a few beauty recipes:

Anti-cellulite wrap based on mineral water.

You will need:

  • any non-carbonated mineral water, 50 ml (1 glass);
  • aminophylline, 1 ampoule (5 ml);
  • dimexide solution, 10 ml.

How to carry out the procedure:

The first step is cleansing the skin. To enhance the effect, you can use a light scrub. Mix all ingredients in the indicated proportions and apply to problem areas. Wrap the treated areas. Cling film and an old towel are suitable for this. You need to walk with this compress for 30-40 minutes.

Duration of courses and breaks:

The course consists of 10 procedures. You can perform wraps daily. If there is no desired result, the course can be repeated after at least 2 weeks.

Anti-cellulite massage mask with Vaseline and baby cream.

You will need:

  • aminophylline tablets – 2 pcs. ;
  • regular baby cream, 30 gr. ;
  • dimexide solution, 2 ml;
  • melted Vaseline 5 g.

How to carry out the procedure:

Combine all ingredients (the tablets need to be crushed into powder). The mixture must be rubbed into problem areas, massaging the skin. It’s worth spending at least 20 minutes on such an intense massage. You can wash off the product after an hour - the active substance also affects subcutaneous fat after the massage. After completing the procedure, take a contrast shower.

Duration of courses and breaks:

It is advisable to carry out the procedure before bedtime. The result will be noticeable after 10 days.

Aromatherapy massage with oils:

You will need:

  • rosehip oil, 25 ml. ;
  • essential oil of any citrus (preferably grapefruit), 5 drops;
  • aminophylline, 2 tablets.

How to carry out the procedure:

Crush the tablets into powder and mix with the remaining ingredients. Massage the problem areas intensively with the resulting mixture for 15-20 minutes.

Duration of courses and breaks:

The massage is performed once a day. Course duration – 7 days. There is no need to take breaks, since this massage product does not contain aggressive components.

Homemade cream recipe

From tablets and a solution based on aminophylline, you can get a cream at home that helps fight orange peel. There are different recipes for preparing anti-cellulite cream. For the first method you will need:

  • aminophylline in the form of a solution;
  • petrolatum;
  • any vegetable oil;
  • baby cream

All ingredients must be taken in equal quantities and mixed in a separate container. The finished composition has a gentle effect on the skin and does not cause burning or other unpleasant sensations.

To prepare the second version of the cream you need to take:

  • 40 g baby cream;
  • 10 ml of aminophylline solution;
  • 10 ml Dimexide.

The components need to be mixed. Dimexide enhances the absorption of aminophylline into the skin and increases its anti-cellulite effect, but it has a significant drawback - an unpleasant odor. Because of this, the composition is not recommended for use before going outside.

If you cannot find aminophylline in the form of a solution, you can prepare an effective remedy for orange peel using tablets. To get the cream you will need:

  • 3 tablets of Eufillin with a dosage of 150 mg;
  • 75 ml tube of baby cream.

The cream should be squeezed into a glass container and mixed with crushed tablets. It is necessary to ensure that Eufillin is evenly distributed throughout the composition.

Cosmetologists also recommend adding a solution or crushed aminophylline tablets to purchased anti-cellulite creams, but provided that they do not contain this substance. Thanks to this approach, the effectiveness of cosmetic products can be increased.

All homemade creams must be kept only in the refrigerator at a temperature not exceeding +5 °C. Their shelf life should not exceed 1 week.
