Enzymatic peeling with papain Mirra: reviews of the best product for beautiful skin

Our skin, under the influence of age-related changes, unfavorable environmental factors, and various diseases, loses moisture and healthy appearance. Therefore, deep skin care that is effective and safe is necessary. For you – a beauty product based on the enzyme papain.

Our cosmetic products have expanded their range with a new product. This enzymatic peeling is a unique gentle product for the skin of the face and neck, the main component of which is papain. Papain is a plant enzyme that is extracted from the fruit tree. Papaya is a tall palm-like tree with large fruits that resemble melons. That is why papaya is also called the Melon tree; it grows in Mexico, Thailand, India, and Brazil.

However, this tree is known not only for its tasty large fruits, but also for the fact that it contains papain, an unusual substance from the class of digestive enzymes. Proteolytic enzymes (proteases) have unique properties; they are capable of breaking down organic proteins. For example, enzymes are present in human gastric juice and are involved in the digestion of food. Natural papain in its action can be compared with gastric juice.

Papain is an enzyme that can soften even tough meat, so this plant enzyme is widely used to improve meat products. The enzyme helps digest food in the stomach. Papain is used in winemaking, cooking, cheese making and for cleaning contact lenses. Thus, papain can be classified as a substance of plant origin, which has a number of beneficial properties:

  • Papain is an excellent antimicrobial agent; the enzyme helps eliminate toxins and destroy harmful microorganisms;
  • Papain is an effective anti-burn and anti-bedsore agent. The enzyme cleanses the damaged surface and promotes rapid wound healing.

It is worth noting that papain only affects dead tissue, because living cells contain substances that make the enzyme ineffective, so papain can be applied to the skin without fear.

Since the 18th century, papaya has been used for beauty and youthful skin. But if then the plant itself was used for this, today a purified, processed enzyme is added to cosmetics - papaya extract. Papain-based preparations are effectively used both professionally and at home to cleanse the skin, eliminate age spots, calluses, improve skin texture and lighten the skin.

Enzymatic skin peeling: indications for use

ENZYMATIVE PEELING from MIRRA is a translucent gel with a pleasant fruity smell. Intended for gentle cleansing of the skin. The effect after applying peeling is simply amazing:

  • The product removes the upper stratum corneum of the skin and has excellent exfoliating properties. At the same time, you will not experience discomfort or unpleasant sensations;
  • The skin is saturated with oxygen, as a result of which its appearance improves;
  • The intracellular functioning of the skin is improved;
  • Small wrinkles are smoothed out, the skin becomes smoother and more even. Rejuvenating peeling effect due to natural plant enzyme.

And most importantly, the use of enzyme peeling eliminates destructive mechanical effects. The procedure is recommended to be carried out at different times of the year; after peeling there is no increased sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation. Sensitivity to the sun is characteristic of fruit acids, but peeling is not. That is why it can be contrasted with acid peeling. Enzymatic peeling is gentle, safe and soft, and is an almost universal means for caring for the delicate skin of the face and décolleté.

Enzymatic peeling

Range Mirra cosmetics replenished with a new product.

This is an ENZYMATIVE PEELING - a completely special product, the main active ingredient of which is the plant enzyme papain.

The enzyme papain was isolated from the tropical fruit tree papaya (Carica papaya L.), from which it gets its name. Papaya is a tall, palm-like tree that bears large fruits that look and taste like melons, which is why it is also called the Melon Tree. Papaya is grown in Thailand, India, Mexico, Brazil and many other countries. But the tree became famous not only for its delicious fruits, but also for the fact that almost all its parts contain an unusual substance - papain, which belongs to the class of proteolytic enzymes.

Proteolytic enzymes (proteases) have unique properties - they break down proteins. Such enzymes are found, for example, in gastric juice and help digest food. So, vegetable papain can be compared in action to gastric juice. Papain is able to soften tough meat, therefore it is widely used to improve the quality of meat and meat products.

The enzyme promotes better digestion of food in the stomach. Papain is used in cheese making, winemaking and brewing, and is used in liquids for cleaning contact lenses as a mild, non-irritating, easy-to-remove cleaning agent. The enzyme has antimicrobial properties because destroys the membrane and toxins of many pathogenic microorganisms. Papain is often called a “biological scalpel”: it is able to clean the surface of the wound from necrotic masses and accelerate the healing of wounds, burns and bedsores. Moreover, the enzyme acts exclusively on dead tissue, because Living tissues always contain protease inhibitor substances that make the enzyme inactive, so papain can be safely applied to the skin. Papaya has been used in the beauty industry for a long time, since the 17th century.

In earlier times, the plant itself was used, but today a highly purified enzyme or papaya extract containing it is added to cosmetics. Modern drugs are used in both professional and home cosmetics for effective cleansing, eliminating hyperkeratosis (for example, from calluses and corns) and smoothing the skin texture. Products with papain can also lighten the skin, this occurs due to exfoliation of the top, pigmented layer.

The new product ENZYMATIVE PEELING MIRRA is a translucent gel with a pleasant scent of tropical fruits. It is designed for delicate and at the same time deep cleansing of the skin. It perfectly exfoliates (one might even say “dissolves”) the upper stratum corneum, and does so gently and without any unpleasant sensations.

There is no mechanical or abrasive effect. This peeling can be carried out at any time of the year, even in summer, because... after it there is no increased sensitivity to the sun, which is typical, for example, for fruit acids. That is why it is an alternative to acid peeling; it is more versatile and safe.

ENZYME PEELING can be safely recommended for dark, African and Asian skin, which distinguishes it from acid peeling, which sometimes causes increased pigmentation in these skin types. It can be recommended for sensitive skin and skin with symptoms of rosacea (spider veins, areas with redness and closely located vessels). However, individual intolerance must be taken into account, so the first sensitivity test should always be carried out.

After ENZYMATIVE PEELING, the skin becomes lighter, because... a layer with a high pigment content is removed, color improves due to improved microcirculation, and peeling is eliminated. Peeling makes the skin soft, tender, well-groomed.

ENZYMATIVE FACIAL PEELING is especially indicated for aging skin, since it smooths out the relief, reduces the depth of wrinkles and stimulates the skin to regenerate and rejuvenate.

The method of application is very simple: apply the product to clean skin for 15 - 20 minutes, avoiding the eye area, then rinse with warm water. For delicate, sensitive skin, a slight tingling sensation after application and a slight blush that goes away 20 minutes after the procedure are possible.

Apply 1-2 times a week. Next, apply a product according to your skin type.

During the development of this product, tests were carried out on volunteers from among the company's employees and distributors. The total number of volunteers was more than 50 people. A lot of work was done by cosmetologists from Novosibirsk, Tver, Moscow, and Chelyabinsk. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all participants for their attentive attitude and responsibility.

ENZYMATIVE PEELING WITH PAPAIN was tested for effectiveness at the EKLAN medical center for cosmetology correction. All tests have shown that the product does not cause skin irritation, produces pronounced refreshing and smoothing effects, eliminates flaking and is comfortable to use. After a month of use, the skin profile improves significantly.

Studies have shown that after a month of using ENZYMATIVE PEELING, the depth of wrinkles is reduced by 10 - 13%, and peeling by 30 - 80%, depending on the type and condition of the skin.

MIRRA ENZYME PEELING is universal, designed for all skin types, easily fits into any program both at the cleansing stage and at the intensive care stage. Nourishing, moisturizing or anti-age products applied after ENZYMIC PEELING will be absorbed much better, because peeling cleanses the skin of excess dead horny scales that prevent the penetration of active components.

ENZYMATIVE PEELING gives a quick visible effect, which is indispensable for express procedures.

A lasting effect is achieved after a course of use of 3-4 weeks. Next you should take a break for 2-3 months.

For what skin can PEELING be used?

  • ENZYMATIVE PEELING is recommended by cosmetologists for dark skin. This fact also distinguishes this peeling from acid peeling, which can cause unwanted pigmentation;
  • For sensitive skin and problematic skin with rosacea, enzyme peeling is simply irreplaceable. But do not forget about individual intolerance, so first you need to take a sensitivity test;
  • PEELING for aging skin. Its use leads to equalization of skin turgor and reduction of wrinkles.

After PEELING, the skin smoothes out, becomes lighter, the outer pigmented layer is removed, blood circulation improves, so the complexion becomes healthier. After ENZYMATIVE PEELING, the skin is soft and well-groomed.

Enzymatic peeling with papain Mirra: reviews

Anastasia:

“A good remedy for rosacea, it really helps. You need to use Mirra enzymatic peeling, but you just need to remove the mask very carefully. I use an enzymatic gel, which I dilute with papain peeling gel.”

Svetlana:

“Great product. I use it as follows: first I remove makeup with a deep cleansing gel, then I dilute everything according to the instructions, apply it to my face for ten minutes, do a peeling massage with wet hands to improve the effect, and then rinse well with plenty of water. At the end I apply a nourishing cream for my skin type.”

Olga:

“The first procedure was done in a salon, with a competent and experienced cosmetologist. But it’s not cheap, so I bought the product and do the peeling at home myself. The effect is the same as in the salon, only I also save money! Perfectly evens out the skin and improves the functioning of the sebaceous glands.”

Oksana:

“For me, a huge plus is the softness of this peeling, which allows you to use it even in summer, as long as you have sunscreen on hand. The effect is good, visible the next day. The skin cleanses, evens out, rejuvenates and makes it radiant. I’m very glad that enzymatic peeling is so affordable, I easily refused the expensive services of beauty salons.”

Enzymatic peeling and sorbent peeling mask from Mirra Lux

Who's talking about what, and I'm all about peelings... :) For me, the problem of deep cleansing the skin and the fight against the first signs of skin aging is urgent now; we need products that stimulate cell renewal and regeneration. I decided to start my search with peelings. There were a lot of reviews about Mirra Lux peelings on various forums - both positive and negative, but I decided to try it anyway, especially since in our “collective farm” there was a point of sale for this brand. I’ll start, perhaps, with the product that I’ve long wanted to try on myself, the peeling roller, and more specifically, the sorbent peeling mask from Mirra Lux.

Some information from the manufacturer: Description:

Exfoliating mask (micronized green tea sorbent).
Lightens age spots, optimizes blood microcirculation. Ingredients:
micronized green tea, Japanese sophora, diatomaceous earth, magnesium and zinc oxide, lessorb, citric acid.
Usage:
Warm the facial skin over a steam bath or hot compress.
Pour a quarter of a teaspoon of powder into a dry bowl and apply the mask to the skin of the face with a damp finger, excluding the skin around the eyes. Let the mask dry. Wet your fingertips with water and massage the skin for 10 minutes in the direction of the massage lines. Wash off with boiled or purified water and a mild detergent. For dry skin, it is recommended to carry out the procedure 2 times a month. You can read more about this tool here. This peeling mask is truly “hard”, comparable to microderma from Mary Kay, but the latter is more of a regular scrub in consistency, due to this it seems less harsh, and the Mirra Luxe peeling mask is just a very fine powder that looks like salt. Some may find it inconvenient to use - but you need to be careful with it, but even the first time nothing slipped past my face :). After drying, it began to roll off... as a result, my face was squeaky clean, but the procedure itself was not very pleasant for me, so I use this peeling mask only once every two weeks. The product is very economical - despite the small volume of the package (only 15 g), it will probably last me for a year. Another plus is the low cost. And now about another product - enzymatic peeling from Mirra Lux. The manufacturer promises:
The plant enzyme papain provides gentle and deep cleansing of the skin, evens out and brightens it, stimulates cell renewal and regeneration.
Ingredients:
Water, glycerin, aristoflex, papain, sharomix, katon, EDTA, perfume composition.
Action:
Gently and deeply cleanses the skin without mechanical impact, evens out the relief, activates skin renewal and rejuvenation.
Usage:
Apply for 15-20 minutes on clean skin (avoiding the eye area), then rinse with warm water.:) For sensitive skin, redness and a tingling sensation may occur, lasting no more than 20-30 minutes after the procedure. Use once a week, the product can be used at any time of the year, and is also recommended for all skin types, even for sensitive skin with symptoms of rosacea (areas of skin with redness, with closely spaced blood vessels, “networks” and “stars”). What I like about it is that you don’t have to rub or roll anything, you just apply it like a mask, wait for it to dry and wash it off. The consistency is similar to a film mask, only a little thicker. It is easy to apply, but this peeling does not tighten the skin, unlike film masks; it is absorbed a little like a cream, but not completely. I didn’t have any tingling sensations, there was only a slight redness of the skin when the peeling was still on my face, then everything went away quickly - overall there were no unpleasant sensations. The bottle is sealed, with a dispenser; a decent portion of peeling is squeezed out with one press. After this peeling, the face doesn’t feel tight, the skin doesn’t squeak, but it’s not “eraser” like the Mineral Beauty System cream peeling - just a feeling of a “specifically washed” face. I don’t even know what I’ll choose next time - Mineral Beauty System cream peeling or enzymatic peeling Mirra Lux... both give a good effect, I liked both, and the price for them is almost the same.:) What are your favorite peelings?
