Pluryal fillers: stop the moment to retain youth

Plurial fillers were developed in the laboratory of the Luxembourg company MD Skin Solutions, known in dozens of countries around the world for its serious achievements in the production of highly effective medical and cosmetic preparations. The production of dermal fillers is carried out by the Austrian company Croma, which developed the famous brand of Princess fillers.

What are Pluryal fillers?

Basis of the drug

As mentioned earlier, its action is based on hyaluronic acid, a substance that, as scientists have proven, can fight the signs of aging: smooth the skin, make it more elastic.
After all, due to aging, our skin ceases to be able to retain hyaluronic acid, and plastic surgery with injections makes up for its deficiency.

Thus, the effect of using fillers will be a tightened oval of the face and smoothed out wrinkles.

Among the advantages of the procedure, it is necessary to mention that even deep wrinkles are smoothed out; if desired, it is possible to create the effect of expressive cheekbones or plump lips.

“Plureal” is considered a universal drug, which reduces the risk of allergic reactions and increases the number of women for whom injections with it are an ideal solution to the problem.

It should be noted that there is a downside to the procedure - after some time, the substance will disintegrate and be eliminated from the body, and your appearance will return to its original appearance.

In addition, when turning to an inexperienced specialist, the consequences of his mistake can be lumps in the lips and other areas of the face, noticeable papules (pimples that look like small balls in the skin), and an increase in the effect of facial asymmetry.

What problems does Plureal combat most effectively?

Most plastic surgeons recommend these fillers to solve various problems.

  • Clear signs of aging on the face, neck, and décolleté. Deep wrinkles.
  • Getting rid of fine or deep wrinkles around the eyes, lips, forehead, between the eyebrows and other facial wrinkles.
  • Increasing or creating the effect of plump lips, the effect of expressive cheekbones, adjusting facial features, adjusting the shape of the face, adjusting the chin area.
  • The fight against natural defects and imperfections.
  • Improvement of the overall condition of the skin: fresh look, healthy shine, smoothness, tone evening, fight against pigmentation.

Who is contraindicated for the use of Plureal fillers?

  1. First of all, at the clinic, you should undergo a series of tests to identify an allergic reaction to drugs containing fillers and other components that come into contact with/injected into your skin during the procedure. If any allergic reaction is detected, injections are unacceptable.

  2. If you suffer from diseases of the vascular-cardiac system or ailments related to kidney function, then you should refuse the procedure. In addition, it is unacceptable to administer injections to patients suffering from poor blood clotting.
  3. Patients suffering from skin diseases during their exacerbation period are strictly required to consult a doctor. The same applies to people with any chronic diseases.
  4. People suffering from cancer, viral, infectious diseases, as well as diseases affecting the nervous system, are not recommended to administer injections.
  5. The safety of the drug on the fetus of a pregnant woman has not been proven, so the procedure should be postponed. During breastfeeding, administering the drug is prohibited.

What types of "Plureal" are there?

Fillers are used mainly by two types of women: those who want to hide the signs of skin aging and young girls who strive for an ideal oval face, plump lips, and high cheekbones. Taking into account the preferences of each of these groups, I productively created a line of fillers:

Plureal Booster

Can be used from the age of 18, although it is used mainly by girls over 25.
The concentration of the substance is reduced, the composition includes hyaluronic acid and glycerol.

Course of application: three procedures monthly. The effect will appeal to girls who dream of improving the overall condition of their skin without correcting facial features through a “soft” effect.

Fillers perfectly hide minor imperfections.

Injections are administered into both the middle and deeper layers, depending on the expected result.

Plureal Volume

The filler was created as the densest one in order to more effectively combat deep wrinkles and unevenness.

Thanks to its composition, Volum is one of the longest-lasting: the effect lasts up to one and a half years. It is also used to correct facial features: enlarging lips, highlighting cheekbones.

After injections, the skin is noticeably more elastic.

Reviews

Because the Pluryal product has such remarkable characteristics, most patients are very satisfied with the results of the injection treatment, especially when the three forms of the drug are used in combination.

They pay attention to the fact that the drugs are effective for eliminating fine wrinkles and deep folds, they really help to even out the skin texture, tighten and correct the contours of the cheekbones, cheeks, chin, and rejuvenate the skin of the face, neck and chest. At a moderate cost of Plurial gels, long-term preservation of the effect is noted. Temporary swelling and bruising disappear without a trace by 6–10 days.

Cosmetologists have virtually no complaints about the Plurial series and believe that the product, due to its high degree of elasticity and viscosity, is perfectly distributed in the layers of the skin, showing a natural and long-lasting result. This manifests itself when working to eliminate defects in the fine-wrinkled type of aging and when smoothing the skin in the area of deep folds. Undesirable consequences in a pronounced form, according to the observations of experts, are rare - usually if the patient hides from the doctor certain diseases or conditions that are included in the list of contraindications for the use of any fillers with hyaluronic acid. Since the active substance Plurial is of non-animal origin, allergic manifestations in patients are extremely rare.

How is the procedure done?

  1. The specialist you contacted cleanses your skin and marks the areas where the drug will be injected. In medicine, this procedure is considered not painful, although in most clinics you will be asked to use anesthesia.
  2. If you choose to use numbing creams, this will most likely cost you as a separate service. In most cases, the doctor skips the anesthesia step.
  3. The specialist must warn you that during the week before the procedure it is necessary to avoid taking blood thinners. For safety reasons, request that the package of Plureal be opened in front of you on the day of the procedure.
  4. There are a number of rules that the doctor must follow: show the sealed package, check the syringes (the gel is released ready for use), show you the expiration date and the medication certificate.
  5. To carry out the procedure, the doctor puts on a mask and sterile gloves. Ensure compliance with sanitary standards. On average, you will have to spend from 15 to 30 minutes in the office, but if the amount of work is larger, then the injection time may increase. The syringes have thin needles that reduce pain and healing time.
  6. In most clinics, the procedure ends with a massage, the purpose of which is to distribute the product evenly and reduce possible swelling and bruising, which, of course, may appear, but disappear in one or two days.

What recommendations should be followed after the procedure to maintain the effect?

Plureal fillers do not have any special requirements. Everything that doctors recommend doing after injections is standard for plastic surgery. First, try to refrain from using cosmetics for the first day after insertion. Secondly, you should not expose your skin to sudden temperature changes: go to baths, saunas, swimming pools.

It is recommended to avoid visiting gyms and training at home. Thirdly, increase the amount of water you drink - this will help further moisturize your skin. During the week, give up bad habits: smoking and drinking alcohol, reduce the number of cups of coffee you drink, try to eat foods that are not spicy or overly salty. If you follow these tips, your skin will not have to lose moisture, and you will be able to prolong the effect of the drug.

What side effects are possible?

The occurrence of adverse reactions is possible only due to two reasons: failure to maintain sterility/lack of experience on the part of the doctor (the clinic’s fault) or individual intolerance to the components included in the fillers.

If you experienced pain during the procedure (pain that is difficult to endure, burning or cutting pain), and bruises after the injection did not go away for a long time, most likely a medical error was made and you need to seek advice.

Pluryal

In recent years, contour plastic surgery has become a kind of standard for rejuvenation; it is usually with this that women of all ages begin their acquaintance with the world of aesthetic medicine. And we continue to monitor both new and time-tested fillers.

Pluryal is a small line of injectable preparations based on hyaluronic acid, designed for voluminous correction of age-related changes in the face and deep moisturizing of the skin.

Who makes these gels and how do they work? What to expect from the procedure? Are there any contraindications, what complications and side effects may there be? Get all the necessary information at TecRussia.ru:

↑ Who is the manufacturer?

The Pluryal line was developed by MD Skin Solutions, headquartered in Luxembourg. And it is produced at the factories of the Austrian company Croma, known for its Princess fillers. This, however, does not mean that we are talking about the same composition under different brands - the formula and raw materials are different in each case, which means the effect will be slightly different.

The drugs were included in the Roszdravnadzor register in 2011 and 2013 (registration numbers: FSZ 2011/11235 and RZN 2013/463) and re-registered in the summer of 2016 by a new applicant - NikOl-cosmetics LLC, which is the exclusive distributor of the line in our country .

↑ What's in it?

  • The main active ingredient of Puryal fillers is hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin, purified from protein impurities.
  • “Traditional” BDDE ester was used as a stabilizer; its concentration complies with the requirements of the European Union and FDA.
  • Another active component of the gels of this brand is glycerol, which provides antioxidant protection and promotes better saturation of tissues with moisture.

↑ Line of Pluryal drugs

Currently, MD Skin Solutions supplies two types of fillers and one biorevitalizant to Russia:

NameHA concentrationMain indications
Puryal (basic)23 mg/mlA universal preparation for filling wrinkles and folds, sometimes used for lip augmentation.
Volume23 mg/mlDesigned for more voluminous corrections: cheekbone augmentation, modeling the contours of the chin and oval of the face, rejuvenation of the hands and intimate contouring. Suitable for working on lips.
Booster18 mg/mlBiorevitalizant for deep skin hydration and elimination of fine mesh wrinkles

Under the same brand, the laboratory also produces two types of mesotherapy cocktails (composition: hyaluronic acid + amino acid complex), but they have not yet been registered and are not supplied in the Russian Federation.

  • Objectively, these drugs do not have significant advantages over their counterparts from the same price segment - such as Reneall, Repleri and the previously mentioned Princess. Practicing cosmetologists do not have serious complaints about Plurial, but they also do not experience any particular enthusiasm for the effect: ordinary, standard gels, which it makes sense for the patient to pay attention to only if the chosen doctor specializes in working with them. Most often they are used as an inexpensive way to enlarge lips, and for working with wrinkles and facial contours, other brands are preferred.

↑ How the procedure is performed

Contour plastic surgery or biorevitalization with Puryal fillers begins with an in-person consultation, during which the cosmetologist discusses the desired result with the patient, identifies the presence of contraindications, determines the required type of drug, its volume and areas of administration, talks about the rules of facial care before and after injections, possible complications, etc. .P. After all the nuances have been agreed upon, you can proceed to the injections themselves:

  • In the presence of the patient, the package with the drug is opened (it is advisable to check the integrity of the cardboard box and syringes, and the expiration date).
  • The target area of the skin is cleared of cosmetics, an anesthetic cream is applied to it, and a layer of thin film is applied on top, after which you will need to wait 10-20 minutes until the anesthetic begins to act.
  • Next, the skin is treated with an antiseptic solution and injections are performed. The drug is injected to the desired depth using the selected technique.
  • If correction of several areas of the face was planned at the same time, then it starts from the top and gradually goes down to the chin. After introducing each portion of the gel, the treated area is gently massaged for better distribution of the drug.
  • When all the injections have been made, the skin is re-treated with an antiseptic solution and a cold compress is applied to it. The cosmetologist once again gives the patient recommendations for the next few days, makes sure that there are no obvious side effects or complications, and sends him home.

↑ Skin care after the procedure

In order to reduce the likelihood of undesirable consequences and get the maximum effect from Pluryal injections, you will need to follow a number of simple rules for about a week:

  • You cannot massage your face, touch the treated area again, or apply decorative cosmetics to it;
  • In the first few hours, it is advisable to apply cold to the injection sites to avoid the appearance of large swelling and bruises. The main thing here is not to overdo it so as not to injure the skin;
  • it is necessary to exclude exposure to ultraviolet radiation (stay in the active sun, solarium) and high temperatures (bathhouse, sauna, and even just heat from a home stove);
  • you should avoid going to the gym, as physical activity can increase swelling;
  • You should not swim in open reservoirs or pools, so as not to introduce infection into healing wounds.

↑ Contraindications, complications, possible side effects

Factors that exclude the use of Pluryal (as well as other hyaluronic acid fillers):

  • autoimmune diseases;
  • allergic reactions to any of the components of the drug;
  • blood clotting disorders due to illness or medications;
  • During pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • tendency to form hypertrophic and keloid scars;
  • recent (less than 2-3 weeks) aggressive peeling;
  • the presence of non-absorbable gels in tissues;
  • increased body temperature, any ailment associated with seasonal viral infections;
  • inflammatory skin diseases in the areas where injections are planned;
  • age up to 18 years.
Photos before and after lip augmentation with Plutyal Volume filler:

The main complications and side effects of this procedure are as follows:

  • development of large tissue edema and hematomas;
  • inflammation;
  • asymmetrical arrangement of the gel, its uneven distribution in tissues, migration;
  • vascular injury by filler (squeezing or entering directly into the lumen) with the development of embolism;
  • formation of compactions (fibrosis).

Minor swelling and hematomas are considered normal, since such a reaction always occurs in response to any damage to the skin. Typically, swelling increases during the first day and subsides on the 3-5th day after the procedure. Hematomas may persist a little longer, but also, as a rule, go away on their own and without treatment (see also the article “Swelling after hyaluronic fillers”).

Inflammation usually occurs due to violation of the rules of asepsis and antisepsis, but in some cases it can develop in response to the injection of fillers in patients with autoimmune diseases (which is why such conditions are considered a direct contraindication to contouring).

Asymmetry, migration and uneven distribution of the gel are almost always the result of improper injection technique. Less often, such an unpleasant result is caused by the desire of the owner of a “renewed” face to massage the area of injections and actively apply cosmetics to them.

Fibrosis is a consequence of excessive production of connective tissue fibers, which can be felt as a dense area of tissue under the skin and even visible from the outside. Patients at risk for developing this complication are patients with autoimmune diseases and a tendency to form hypertrophic scars (see also the article “Lumps and lumps after fillers”).

↑ How much do Pluryal fillers cost? Current prices

The patient's expenses will consist of the cost of the drug (depending on its type and quantity), as well as the cost of the cosmetologist's work. As a rule, to solve typical aesthetic problems (remove major wrinkles, enlarge lips, etc.) one package is enough; more will be needed only if complex work with the face is needed, incl. volumetric correction of cheekbones and filling of deep folds.

What are the reviews about the drug?

Doctors love this drug very much for its versatility. It is suitable for any age, it can help get rid of wrinkles or improve the general condition of young skin. Moreover, procedures with Plureal are among the easiest to carry out, which means the risk of error is minimal.

Clients note that the drug copes with the correction of facial features “with a bang,” but does not always fight particularly deep wrinkles successfully. Among the disadvantages of use, the fragility of the result is noted: on average, the effect lasts from 4 to 8 months.
