Breast augmentation in Tomsk

Mammoplasty is a plastic surgery on the mammary glands, the essence of which is changing their shape and size. Breasts can be enlarged using endoprosthetics, reduced (reduction mammoplasty) or lifted (mastopexy).

The first breast augmentation operation was performed in Tomsk in the early 90s, so we will soon celebrate our 20th anniversary. It cannot be said that these operations are incredibly popular in Tomsk. It seems that everyone is aware, there is a desire, but... Either there are no financial opportunities, or there is not enough determination (most likely, both) - in a word, the vast majority of Tomsk women still “wear” the breasts given to them from nature. In general, according to Tomsk plastic surgeons, from year to year there is a steady but slow increase in demand for mammoplasty - without jumps, without surprises.

For example, at the Sibirskaya clinic we were told that 3-4 women a month contact them for mammoplasty, then some of them are eliminated - for example, they postpone the operation to a later date. It even happens that for a whole month there is not a single operation, and then three at once.

The operations here are performed by surgeons Valery Mitasov (one of the first in our city to begin performing mammoplasty) and Vitaly Igumnov . Mitasov is ours, from Tomsk, and Igumnov comes from Novosibirsk for surgery every time. Women make appointments with both surgeons based on recommendations and personal preferences, so their workload is approximately the same.

Mikhail Afanasyev operates at the Women's Health Center . According to him, mammoplasty has to be done about 2 times a week.

Plastic surgeon at the First Private Clinic - Sergei Kolesnikov . By the way, he is also a mammologist, which in this case is important for us. Also an oncologist and mammologist is Lola Khowari, who performs mammoplasty at the Zdorovye medical association.

At the Dr. Merker clinic, operations are performed by Dr. Merker , named Eduard, also an old-timer in the field of mammoplasty.

How quickly can you get mammoplasty in Tomsk?

Yes, in principle, very quickly, if you had the money and the desire - after all, there are practically no queues. Actually, you just need to come for a consultation with a plastic surgeon, and not just any one, but the one who will perform the operation. There the doctor will talk to you, take measurements, demonstrate the implants, talk about the process itself and give an appointment for tests. For everything about everything – half an hour and 250 rubles (almost everywhere).

There are not many tests, they can be taken at one time. The results are ready within a day or two. The operation is usually scheduled in a week, but it can be done earlier, as soon as the tests are done. That is, in fact, after just three days you can safely go under the knife. And don't be afraid of anything.

Prices for mammoplasty in Tomsk

At the Sibirskaya clinic, breast augmentation without implants (they come in different varieties) costs 40-45 thousand rubles, and with implants - from 90 to 130-140 thousand. Add here the cost of additional procedures - for example, anesthesia. Breast reduction will cost the client 30-40 thousand. Breast lift – about 50 thousand, including anesthesia.

At the First Private Clinic, breast augmentation surgery costs from 40 thousand rubles (without implants), and breast reduction and lifting (often these operations are performed together) costs about 60 thousand rubles.

At the Women's Health Center, the price level is as follows: the lowest cost of mammoplasty is 70 thousand, and the highest is 150 thousand. This price includes all expenses, including anesthesia.

The medical association “Health” provided us with such a range of prices - from 20 to 100 thousand rubles, ranging from the correction of any aesthetic defects to full-fledged mammoplasty. All kinds of operations in the same area at the Dr. Merker clinic also start from an amount of 20 thousand rubles. This is a very, very difficult question - price! Absolutely individual.

Prices in Novosibirsk are as follows: breast augmentation without the cost of a prosthesis - at least 70 thousand rubles, reduction - about 90 thousand, breast lift - about 40 thousand rubles. In general, we can draw the following conclusion: Novosibirsk prices are 20-30% higher, and Moscow prices are at least 2 times higher. It happens 3 and 4 times. It is not surprising that clients from Moscow, and indeed from all over the Siberian region, come to us in Tomsk - fortunately, our surgeons can already be considered experienced specialists. At the First Private Clinic, for example, they are even developing such a direction as medical tourism - to systematically attract clients from other cities and countries.

Rhinoseptoplasty in Tomsk

Rhinoseptoplasty is a surgical operation aimed at correcting external defects of the nose and eliminating the curvature of the nasal septum.

Indications for surgery

  • thickened tip of the nose
  • saddle nose shape
  • Aquiline nose
  • nasal deformation after injury
  • a long nose
  • large nostrils
  • nasal breathing disorder

Features of the operation

Rhinoplasty is divided into cartilaginous and osteochondral, and the approach can be open or closed. With closed access, the surgeon makes all incisions and manipulations inside the nasal cavity. When open, the incision passes along the skin of the nasal septum, at its narrowest point. The choice of access is determined by the surgeon before surgery, taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient. Regardless of the choice of access, postoperative scars are invisible. At the end of the operation, a special sticker bandage in the shape of a butterfly is applied for 7-10 days. The first 2-3 days after removing the bandage, swelling of the nose persists. After 2 weeks, the nose takes on an acceptable appearance, the hematomas of the external nose and middle zone of the face disappear almost completely, but we must remember that the nose will take its final shape after 8-12 months.

Rhinoseptoplasty at the First Private Clinic is:

  • Modern low-traumatic techniques are performed using a closed type (incisions are made in the nasal cavity).
  • Highly qualified specialists - operations are performed by: - Andrey Sergeevich Prosekin, 33 years of experience, Candidate of Medical Sciences, doctor of the highest qualification category, Andrey Sergeevich has performed about 10,000 operations
  • The safest anesthesia to date is sevoran.
  • Comfortable surgical hospital

The cost of the operation is 76,400 rubles. The price includes surgery, 24-hour hospital stay (2 days), anesthesia (Sevoran)

Briefly about the important:

  • Preparation for the operation: before the operation you need to undergo a set of tests and come to the Clinic on an empty stomach at the time prescribed by the doctor
  • What to take with you to the Clinic:

— at the Clinic you will be provided with a robe, disposable slippers, a towel, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and the necessary utensils

— in order to prevent pulmonary embolism (PE) in the postoperative period, the doctor during the consultation will recommend that you purchase elastic bandages (length 5 m, width 8-10 cm) – 2 pcs. or varicose stockings (compression class 2)!

  • The operation lasts about 75-85 minutes under general anesthesia. Upon completion, the doctor installs special tampons in the nasal cavity, which are removed after a day. Breathing through your nose will not improve immediately after surgery. It usually takes some time for the swelling of the nasal mucosa to disappear and crusts to stop forming.
  • Stay at the Clinic: 2 days
  • Further treatment and postoperative observation: 2 weeks, further observation is carried out for 9-12 months with examination intervals once every 2-3 months
  • You can go back to work: in 14 days
  • Sports: rest and limitation of physical activity for two weeks, it is recommended to avoid heavy physical activity for one month
  • Cost: 76400 rub.
  • What is included in the cost of treatment: surgery, 24-hour hospital stay, general anesthesia (Sevoran)

P. _ S .: Closed rhinoseptoplasty is indicated only for certain deformations of the external nose; in some cases (change in the shape of the tip of the external nose, etc.), open rhinoseptoplasty is indicated. The patient’s wishes to change the shape of the external nose are decisive, but not decisive.

Which implants to choose?

I would like the most modern, most advanced, made in line with the latest medical technologies. And not at all those with whom they began to work in the last century. Are we thinking correctly?

— We will make a choice in favor of reliable, proven companies. – So says plastic surgeon Lola Howary . – There is no need to lean towards advertised new products about which little is known. You can change the surgical technique, but you shouldn’t change it. We need companies that are licensed all over the world. I always work only with Mentor. These implants have never been discontinued or arrested, which cannot be said, for example, about the French “PIP” prostheses. These companies have been working very smoothly and for a very long time, constantly improving implants within the framework of their own programs. For example, their implants with super soft gel are what you need. Very soft, delicate, very natural to the touch. Moreover, they are safe. This gel has shape memory, and even if the prosthesis is injured (for example, from a knife wound), the gel will not spread or penetrate the tissue. In general, the selection of implants is an individual matter. What is suitable for one woman is unacceptable for another. However, in the end, each will find its own ideal option.

Which operation is the most difficult?

Each has its own characteristics. Breast augmentation surgery is, in theory, the shortest - it can be completed in 40-60 minutes, if without a lift. The prosthesis is implanted through the inframammary fold, near the nipple or in the armpit. The most common and convenient incision is under the breast, the length of the seam here is 4-5 cm, the postoperative period is minimally painful. With the periareolar type (near the nipple), feeding future babies will be very difficult. With the “axillary” type of operation, you cannot raise your arms for a long time - three weeks. However, this is a small thing compared to the prospects of becoming irresistible and desirable.

Do not overdo it when choosing the size of the implant: the larger it is, the more difficult it is for the body. Again, the prosthesis is not easy to hold, the skin is thin - an additional breast lift may be required.

In the first two weeks after surgery, your breasts will not look quite adequate; for example, they may be much larger than you “ordered.” It's okay - it's swelling, it will go away, take your medicine.

Breast lift surgery takes much longer – from one and a half to three hours. It depends on the surgeon, the size of the breast, and a number of additional factors. But breast reduction may require an even longer operation. In any case, they don’t do it in an hour or an hour and a half.

But still, the most difficult and time-consuming operation is breast reduction combined with breast lift. Here the postoperative period will be longer - from 3 days to 2 weeks. By the way, this kind of double operation is indicated for those who have very large breasts or have noticeably sagged breasts. Reduction alone will not do; in a year the chest will again turn into “spaniel ears.”

In general, no one can know in advance how he will undergo the operation. In addition to a good implant, a brilliant surgeon, and the latest technology, there is one more component - you yourself. For some, everything heals before our eyes, for others it takes twice as long to rehabilitate. What can you do - the individual characteristics of the body!

What is the best thing to do before surgery?

- grow up if you are not yet 18 years old and, therefore, your breasts have not yet fully formed. Although in Russia they still perform operations on girls aged 16-17 years.

- attend a consultation not only with a plastic surgeon, but also with a mammologist - for pathological changes in the mammary gland. In general, it is advisable to undergo a complete examination of the body. If any disease is detected, consult a surgeon to see if mammoplasty can be done.

- lose weight if you've wanted it for a long time. It's better to do this before surgery.

- quit smoking a week before surgery (or better yet), as nicotine will interfere with healing.

- stop taking contraceptives 2 weeks before surgery - they can increase the likelihood of bleeding.

- schedule an operation in the time free from “critical days”.

- for nursing mothers: wait until a year has passed since you fed your baby.

Clinic "Sibirskaya"

One of the first private healthcare institutions in Tomsk, offering patients comprehensive medical care. In the first ten years of operation, the Sibirskaya clinic specialized in providing therapeutic, otolaryngological, cardiological, phlebological, as well as a number of other specialized medical services. In 2007, the clinic opened a new department of plastic surgery and cosmetology. Today, its base provides a wide range of cosmetic and anti-aging procedures, as well as plastic surgeries of various types of complexity (up to gender reassignment).

The cost of breast augmentation at the Sibirskaya clinic, depending on the complexity of the operation and selected implants, will cost 110-150 thousand rubles. This amount includes the operation itself and the cost of implants, hospital stay after surgery, and a bandage.

The following specialists provide consultations at the Sibirskaya clinic:

  • Mitasov Valery Yakovlevich – Candidate of Medical Sciences, surgeon of the highest category, full member of the Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons of Russia. Work experience – more than 23 years. The first specialization is general surgery, the second is maxillofacial surgery, the third is plastic surgery (since 1990).
  • Kozyrev Anton Anatolyevich is a plastic surgeon specializing in performing operations using lasers, a full member of the Siberian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. The first specialization is pediatric surgery, the second is plastic surgery.

What happens after plastic surgery?

Well, first you will “come back” from the anesthesia and begin to intensively remember what you are doing here, in this hospital room? Yeah, we remembered... You shouldn’t clutch your chest in horror (or delight), at first it will be quite painful. But not for long, you’ll get used to it the same day. You need to behave with restraint and calm - do not gesticulate, do not wave your arms, and it is better not to raise them at all.

They say that pain after breast reduction is much less than after breast augmentation. And it seems that you can go home - on the same day. But it's better not to do this. Mammoplasty is still a serious operation, anesthesia is an unpredictable matter, and the mental state is not at its best. Your chest will ache a little and ache, and you’ll immediately rush back to the clinic. So it’s better to lie down for a day under the supervision of doctors.

After breast augmentation surgery, there is no need to take care of the stitches - in fact, there are practically none. But you definitely need to wear a special bra. After breast reduction, the sutures are removed on days 10-14. They remain noticeable for a long time - several months, but then gradually lighten and disappear. A barely noticeable white thread remains. The swelling goes away within a month, however, for some, maybe even sooner.

For about one and a half to two months after breast augmentation, you should not engage in heavy and sweeping sports - for example, swimming, tennis or badminton. And do not go to the sauna at this time. You should also wait a little with babies - it’s better not to get pregnant for about six months. And never, never go without a bra again! Neither at home nor on the beach. Although, okay, you can go on the beach. We must boast...

And here it is, happiness! Every month your luxurious feminine assets become more and more beautiful. But they will become absolutely ideal only after 4-6 months.

What happens after surgery?

The operation itself does not last long, the preparatory period is the most common - do not eat for 8 hours, do not drink water before the operation itself, and prepare yourself for an excellent outcome.

In the hospital after surgery, Tomsk residents are treated differently; each clinic has its own rules. But usually no more than 2-3 days. And often less. Basically, patients spend these two postoperative weeks at home, following all the surgeon's instructions.

It must be said that the recovery period can unsettle even the most courageous. On the first day after surgery, many people still have trouble thinking clearly. And those who are in full health experience an emotional upsurge - from their own heroism and from the fact that everything is already behind them. But then the euphoria wears off, and God hasn’t given many people patience.

“After the operation, the most difficult thing for me was to adapt to breathing through the mouth,” says Tomsk resident Yulia Ivanova (surname changed), “my lips are dry, there are tampons in my nose, you want to sleep, but you wake up all the time, you can’t turn on your side... But it’s okay, I somehow adapted , on the second day I was already more cheerful. I haven't picked up the mirror yet. I saw that terrible bruises were beginning to spread on my face. I had never had them in my life, so it was scary and unusual for me to look at myself. These bruises made me feel quietly hysterical, and then my face was all swollen and puffy... And I couldn’t sneeze, cough too much, blow my nose, or touch my nose. And then ten days later the fixing bandage was removed. By that time, the bruises had turned yellow and could have been covered up, but the swelling did not seem to go away, on the contrary, it turned out that they were partially held back by the bandage. And the nose is so thick and terrible - not at all what I expected. The tip remained somewhat drooping for a long time - as it turned out, this is where the swelling goes. And I walked like this “unfinished” for another 2 months. Of course, it gets better every day, but still the face seemed unfinished. Although, I note that as soon as I started leaving the house, my mood was always upbeat, the depression passed, and in the second month I already noticed only good changes in my face. Whatever, you can wait a month or two. But from now on and for the rest of my life I have a stunningly beautiful nose!

Do you need it?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! Well, okay, okay - we decided. Now your sacred duty is to scour the Internet up and down, interview all your friends who have already acquired seductive figures, go for consultations to several clinics at once, look for a surgeon, make inquiries about him, clarify all your expenses - the cost of not only the operation , but also staying in a hospital, carefully read the contract, etc., etc. You have a lot to do! Your goal is to be fully equipped and fully prepared for the operation – mentally and physically. And you know how it happens...

“It often happens that women come for a consultation and feel that they are absolutely unsure of their decision. Mikhail Afanasyev shares his impressions . – It’s clear that the woman is all in doubt – is it necessary to have an operation? Maybe not? Of course, this is precisely what consultations are for – to dot all the i’s. Often during the consultation it is necessary to convince that it would be better to postpone the operation in the name of childbirth. Or, in the name of feeding the child, wait and don’t interrupt him. Although mammoplasty, in general, does not interfere with feeding, if expectant mothers are interested in this. It must be said that a plastic surgeon is a psychotherapist with a scalpel. Our task is to understand what this particular woman dreams of and find the shortest way to achieve this dream. But a woman’s task is to think everything through, weigh her decision, and clearly formulate this dream. In this case, together we will certainly achieve wonderful results.

Which nose shape should you choose?

Well, this is where my eyes just run wild. Which celebrity has the most beautiful nose? Salma Hayek, for example, has a neat nose, while Michelle Pfeiffer has the ideal – classic, straight. By the way, both had rhinoplasty. Or maybe make a nose like Marilyn Monroe’s, because it’s not for nothing that she is a symbol of beauty and femininity...

“This is a completely unjustified practice - trying to make your nose like that of some star,” says plastic surgeon Mikhail Afanasyev. – The nose is a part of the face, not a separate object. Do you know what these attempts to copy someone remind me of? It’s like Gogol: “If only Nikanor Ivanovich’s lips could be placed on Ivan Kuzmich’s nose...”. In the end there will be no beauty. Marilyn Monroe's nose is only good on her own face. On your face, only your own nose, only slightly adjusted, is good and appropriate. After all, if, for example, you remove a hump or raise the tip of your nose, your face will amazingly transform. We change details, and everything changes. Again, think about whether it is possible to make a small snub nose out of a rather impressive Caucasian-type nose? This is technically impossible. However, patients have nothing to worry about - during the consultation we will discuss everything and, of course, we will be able to choose the best nose option that will look harmonious on your face.
