A patient at a plastic surgery clinic had her breasts and hips mutilated. Photos are not for the faint of heart
It all started in 2020, when Miroslava decided to undergo breast correction (lift). To implement her plan, she chose the Center for Cosmetology and Plastic Surgery named after. S.V. Nudelman in Yekaterinburg. However, the patient was disappointed with the result of the operation performed by surgeon Igor Tsvetkov.
Miroslava, clinic patient:
— The nipples turned out to be at such a level that a little more would have climbed onto the forehead. The seams were also done extremely poorly. I began to seek advice from other clinics, but they told me that the alteration would cost a lot of money, since my breasts are large and if they sag, the nipples will climb even higher, so I just need to get implants. I didn't want this at all.

Miroslava had to fly from Surgut to the clinic again and ask to have her breasts remade. The doctors agreed to do the work again, but only at the client’s expense. The woman agreed.
This time she went to another doctor, Nikolai Golubkov, who, in addition to the new breast, advised her to slightly correct other areas of the body. After talking with the doctor, Miroslava decided to have liposuction and correct defects in the buttock area in some places using lipofilling (a plastic surgery that is performed to increase the size and volume of the buttocks using one’s own fat from the body. Adipose tissue removed from its places is suitable for transplantation the largest accumulation - the abdomen, thighs, etc.).
Miroslava:
— The next morning I got up and was in shock: my butt was “flowing” and everything was blue-black, but the doctor convinced me that everything was fine and it should be that way. After all these operations, I spent five days in the ward and was discharged with terrible pain. Three days later, I began sending photos to my plastic surgeon that the situation on my buttocks was only getting worse. And he again replied that everything was fine and advised me to do a massage with wraps.
After 20 days, Miroslava went to another clinic in Surgut to remove the stitches from her breasts, and asked the doctor to also see what was wrong with her buttocks. It turned out that the patient had developed an abscess, but the local doctor refused to help her, saying that he “didn’t want to be extreme.” The woman, suffering from terrible pain, underwent an ultrasound, MRI, tests and sent everything back to Golubkov. But he wrote again, telling her that everything was not so scary, the patient says. According to her, the doctor said that doctors in Surgut “are incompetent and cannot distinguish lipofilling fat from pus.” But just in case, he advised the woman to take a course of antibiotics. The doctors at the purulent department of a regular hospital also could not help Miroslava. According to the patient, she later flew to Yekaterinburg again, but the doctor again did not see anything terrible in her condition. “After lengthy negotiations, Golubkov gave me a puncture of the gluteal region (a puncture to drain the infiltrate) and advised me to fly to the sea. He was not at all embarrassed that something similar to a birthmark began to form on my buttock. Gray-brown hyperpigmentation has appeared. Then it turned out that his actions only made everything worse,” says Miroslava.
In desperation, the woman began to contact all kinds of clinics, but the doctors refused to work with her. When, after a few months, Miroslava could practically no longer move independently, one of the plastic surgeons advised her to go to the purulent department of one of the Moscow hospitals. There, a woman had half of her buttocks cut out. For two months she had to walk with practically a hole in her body. She was recently operated on again.
Attention! Photos of the patient after surgery are truly not for the faint of heart. Think before you click on a photo essay.
Miroslava still has a long rehabilitation course ahead. For more than a year now, she has not been able to move normally, work, bathe, or ride in a car; she has to buy three seats on the plane to fly lying down. She had to sell her car to use the proceeds to restore her health.
66.RU correspondents contacted the Center for Cosmetology and Plastic Surgery named after. S.V. Nudelman for comment on the current situation. Deputy director of the clinic Marina Shaporenko emphasized that she has no right to disclose information about patients. But, according to her, the cosmetology center enters into an agreement with patients, one of the clauses of which states that the claim procedure for pre-trial dispute is mandatory. And the appeal is considered within 10 days. Marina Shaporenko added that they received no written complaints from Miroslava.
Marina Shaporenko, deputy director:
“I can’t even give a name and confirm or deny information about the woman you’re talking about.” The doctor in question is the most sought after. A huge number of patients come to him. But in medicine anything can happen. And we tell our patients all the risks before taking any action. In addition, we never abandon our patients, abandon them, or refuse help. We are almost 30 years old, if we lived by dishonest principles, we would not have lasted so long.
The doctor Nikolai Golubkov himself was not there, and the phone was unreachable.
It is worth noting that this is not the first scandal in which this plastic surgeon appears. For example, in February 2018, federal channels aired a story about a woman who also considered herself a victim after contacting Golubkov. Several years ago, she experienced a serious accident, the consequences of which were reflected on her face: for example, the doctors she then contacted had to redo her eyelids, but for some reason they chose tissue from the ears. She turned to Nikolai Golubkov to remove this defect and rejuvenate her face. However, after three operations performed by this surgeon, everything became even worse - the woman’s eyes stopped closing completely, and she had to “seal” them in order to sleep.
You can also find many sad reviews on the Internet.
Now Miroslava, together with a lawyer, is drawing up a claim, which they will send to the clinic. She hopes that she will be reimbursed for the funds spent on restoration and moral damage. Otherwise, trial cannot be avoided. Among other things, the woman wants to ensure that the doctor is punished.

At one time I worked as both an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and an oncologist. And in their functions, both are close to plastic surgery.
When I first saw the result of plastic surgery - anti-aging facial surgery, I was horrified. The face that I observed later for several months was an unpleasant picture... The devastation made a terrible impression. It seemed to me then that women were crazy if they decided to do this. I thought so for three or four months. Then I began to see that my face was really getting younger and better. This was the first revelation. I understood why these operations exist. Then I made the following discovery: in patients who change their appearance, their inner content also changes. For everyone, and especially for a woman, it is very important how she looks. Her attitude, health, relationships in the family and with others depend on this. Her mood improves, and this makes everyone around her feel good.
It happens, of course, that the operation was successful, but the husband did not return. The biggest problem is that a woman often looks for a solution to her problem in plastic surgery, assuming that the reason lies in the shortcomings of her appearance. And at the same time, she does not pay attention to the essence of the conflict that has arisen.
I understand that men are different. Not only “decent” and “dishonest”. There are those who love with their eyes and who are not satisfied with the aging of a woman... I’ll interrupt myself: more often than not, husbands oppose the plastic surgeries that their wives undergo. But I had a case when a man said: “Why should I look for a young wife? My wife suits me quite well. Just make her younger: I want to see her as before, when I fell in love with her.”
The operation should be done in order to enjoy life, and not in order to be loved more. To be loved, you should look for a solution in something else, not in plastic surgery...
Another aspect of plastic surgery is the treatment of problems associated with physical loss. I recently operated on a guy with severe burns to his face and neck. His case is known from television programs. There is some kind of complicated family story, he was doused with acid, and his face was simply gone. The guy lost his face because he had no eyelids, no nose, no lips, no ears left... Without eyelids, he would lose his sight and be completely incapacitated. And this 25-year-old boy will be thrown out of society and from life in general. But the possibilities of plastic surgery make it possible to restore the eyelids, and this will save his eyes. From an inhuman face we will make him a human face. Yes, it will not be the same as before, but at least the face will be normal, and he will be a functional person. And therefore he will not think about the fact that his life is over, but about how to move on.
Over the past three days, I have performed several breast reconstruction operations after mastectomies on women of different ages, from 23 to 70. And all are suffering equally, despite the fact that one breast was removed 12 years ago, and the other this year. And it’s not just that they develop some kind of complex that it’s inconvenient to walk without breasts, it’s inconvenient to see doctors because they are embarrassed. Many families are destroyed, because women begin to blame circumstances and others for everything (and the children are not like that, they have fun, and the husband does not care so much...). They may understand and love their loved ones, but they cannot do anything to overcome themselves. The operation really helps women get rid of the psychological problem and the mental pain that they experience.
Or young people with gynecomastia , when male breasts look like female breasts. My patients say that because of this they are embarrassed to go to the bathhouse. Sometimes an elementary action of a plastic surgeon - and this problem simply does not exist.
I wouldn't call a plastic surgeon a creator. His task is to return what was lost. If a person does not have an ear, it needs to be restored. If youth and beauty are gone, we try to bring them back. This is not Creation, but a certain, well-thought-out method of action, based on the principle “I have grown old because I have declined. I became younger because I was raised.” Some personal preferences of the patient or surgeon are added to this, but this is not a creation. None of the plastic surgeons would call themselves a creator.
Of course, I am not a psychiatrist , but I also have to monitor the absence of mental abnormalities in a patient who comes to see me. For some of them, it would be better to refuse the operation, because, otherwise, they will look for more and more new shortcomings in themselves or improve what has already been done. According to normal criteria, it is not necessary to embody some kind of fantasy, but to return what the patient had but lost. What indications can there be if everything is fine? Make it even better? This is wrong.
There is an opinion that a person becomes dependent on plastic surgery. Of course, we see this all the time. But I’ll tell you now what the cause of this syndrome is. Imagine yourself in the place of one of the patients. You are 40-45 years old, you are overweight, your chest and stomach are deformed after childbirth... You come to me and I, such an impudent one, say: let's choose the most important problem. What's more worrying? Face? We perform surgery on your face. But if we talk about the body, we can't just do a tummy tuck when it's framed by fat, because it will still look bad, right? Of course, everyone is afraid to do everything at once. And it can be financially burdensome. But when a patient undergoes surgery on her face and is also thinking about breast correction, she is not a victim of addiction. She simply understands that it is more rational to do everything together, once going under general anesthesia, solving all the problems and obtaining the maximum aesthetic result.
There is no dependence on operations, there is only dependence on yourself. That, they say, I live uncomfortably because I have poor condition. It’s not worth talking about absurd things when, having made breasts of the third size, the patient comes again and says: “I want a fifth, seventh, tenth”... This, of course, is an abnormal situation, and it rarely comes to the operating table. We do not cross the boundaries of reason.
I can say “no” to a patient for many reasons : firstly, because his expectations are inadequate, secondly, because he is aggressive, thirdly, he is completely stupid, and so on. I work with a patient under anesthesia for a short time, but then we have to communicate for a month, two, three, six months - while the rehabilitation process is underway. I am a very peace-loving person, at least in my profession. But in any case, it is impossible to treat a person who, after surgery, stands in opposition and does not follow the doctor’s recommendations.
But more often than not, I can’t refuse at all , because... well, I can’t refuse when asked.
I don't look at people in terms of the appearance flaws they have. If a person seeks advice, yes, he has to look and analyze. For me, analysis is a routine matter. But the plastic surgeon must not allow his gaze to become dull, so that the acuity of perception is lost.
Plastic surgeons also perform operations on themselves because they understand how easy it is to get rid of your shortcomings. But there is a small nuance: there are people who, in principle, are concerned about appearance, and there are those who do not care about this issue. And it doesn’t matter whether the surgeon in front of us is a minister or a plumber. I recently operated on an artist from a major Russian theater. He is 70, but he looks 50. He keeps himself in very good shape! And he came for the operation because he wants to continue to remain in the profession. He sings the most complex parts, but it is no longer possible to make him up like a 25-year-old troubadour. And he goes into a big six-hour operation.
Men tolerate facial surgery very well , but women do very poorly. Not physically, but emotionally. It is difficult for a woman to cope with bruises and swelling. A month, two... It’s different for men. “It’s all over, it’s all behind us! I’m alive and nothing else matters!” — they are simply restored.
Myself? Yes, I'm probably ready for surgery. Maybe I'll even make something for myself.
I’m just a realist, and I understand that if I fix something, I won’t look younger. I'm already a lot of years old. I’ll do the face, I’ll need to do the neck... And then the question arises: how much do I need this? It’s even convenient for me that I can show patients age-related problems on myself (Laughs) Share:
Surgeon Nikolai Golubkov: “It is possible to restore both mammary glands in one operation”
Breast surgery is one of the most popular areas in plastic surgery. Sometimes patients simply want to correct the shape of their breasts, and sometimes breast surgery is a necessary measure necessary to restore the breasts after cancer and surgical removal of the mammary glands. But no matter what task the doctor faces, mammoplasty is complex and requires a highly qualified surgeon. One of the most successful Russian specialists in this field, a plastic surgeon at the S. V. Nudelman Center for Cosmetology and Plastic Surgery, a doctor of the highest category, a member of the Russian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Nikolai Alexandrovich Golubkov, told us about breast surgery.
“At the S. V. Nudelman Center for Cosmetology and Plastic Surgery, we perform operations not only on those who want to enlarge, reduce, or give the desired shape to their breasts, but also on women who have lost their mammary glands as a result of a mastectomy,” says Nikolai Golubkov. “Moreover, if the patient’s health allows, we restore both mammary glands at once.” In this case, the operation takes about eight hours. Most often, restoration of the removed mammary gland and simultaneous correction of the shape and size of the other mammary gland are required. After all, the task is not just to return what is lost, but to make beautiful breasts. What does the concept of “beautiful breasts” include? Beautiful breasts are the correct shape of both mammary glands, proportionality of their size to the entire figure and, of course, their symmetry.
When reconstructing the breast, achieving symmetry is the most important point. Therefore, I perform breast reconstruction after mastectomy in one stage. Using a skin flap from the back, I form the lost breast and install an implant into it that harmoniously matches the patient’s physique. And I begin the aesthetic correction of the second mammary gland, which, as a rule, also needs to correct its shape or size. Most often it is necessary to tighten the breasts, or reduce them, or enlarge them. When necessary, using optimal techniques, the desired result is achieved - symmetry. In addition, an areola and nipple are made on the reconstructed mammary gland, and after healing, the tattoo recreates the natural color of the nipple-areolar complex.
Many patients are concerned about the problem of scars that remain after surgery. Yes, it is impossible to avoid them, but there are techniques that can minimize scars and make them less noticeable. These include special patches and mesotherapy for the treatment of scars, laser skin treatment, as well as cosmetic tattooing. The main thing, as my patients say, is what you get as a result: natural, warm and vibrant breasts, and with it the return of self-confidence and the ability to enjoy life again.
The topic raised - breast reconstruction after mastectomy - is very, very serious. To summarize and take this opportunity, I would like to remind all women of the need to take care of their health, to be regularly examined by a mammologist, so that, if this happens, cancer is detected at the earliest stage. Unfortunately, women, who are so caring towards their children and husbands, do not always find time for themselves, and I want to encourage you to be very careful about your health.”
