DOCTOR KUDZAEV: “I DISCUSS GIRLS FROM RHINOPLASTY AND I BELIEVE IN KARMA”

Compromising evidence[edit]

According to the Spark portal, the office “Clinic of Doctor Kudzaev” has a low profitability indicator - 2.4 stars out of 5. There are risk factors when working with this office.[2]

On the large medical portal ProDoctors, Kudzaev has a very low rating according to customer data: only 1.67 on a 5-point scale. There is a detailed negative review about the “activities” of this “doctor”:

  • Clinic of Doctor Kudzaev - prosp. Costa, 12a. We went to the doctor with a congenital clubfoot, listened to his loud promises to cure us, put on a plaster cast, which came off. Then there were 4 more approaches to casting, and all were unsuccessful. His hands were apparently shaking as he worked. was nervous. When I came again and said that our cast had fallen off again, he got nervous and said: “Your legs are thick, that’s why the cast doesn’t hold on. Lose weight and come for treatment!” Instead of “Sorry, I’m powerless here,” he blamed both me for being careless with the cast and my child for having chubby legs. In short, anyone is to blame, but not him. His words - I treat children under 3 years old for free, is not true. We bought the material at his own pharmacy for plastering, which cost us a tidy sum, but the result was zero! Having gone through this stage, I can confidently say that Dr. Kudzaev does not treat using the Ponseti method!

On Google, many users rated Kudzaev's clinic 1 or 2 stars, but no comments were given.

There is a negative review on Yandex with the comment: it’s impossible to get through by phone

Doctor Kudzaev: “I discourage girls from rhinoplasty and believe in karma”

Why the famous surgeon from Vladikavkaz refuses many patients and studies their mood before the operation - in our exclusive material.

Vladikavkaz, April 12.

To operate on a 114-year-old grandmother and put her back on her feet, to get into the Book of World Records, to save the victims of the Beslan terrorist attack and the earthquake in Armenia from amputation - it seems that Dr. Kudzaev can do everything. People even fly to him, one of the best surgeons in the country, a student of the brilliant Soviet orthopedist and inventor Ilizarov, who invented that very device. Politicians, Olympic champions, show business stars, having read stories about the work of a talented doctor, drop everything and go to Ossetia for a miracle. And it happens.

Kazbek Kudzaev himself told Region Online about why attitude is important in treatment, how karma affects health, and whether silicone lovers should be denied admission.

ABOUT PSYCHOLOGY AND Aikido

Most often they write on the Internet about the unique operation that you performed on local centenarian Goshada Tsallayeva. Tell us how it was, why the story became so famous?

“She had a fracture of the femoral neck and, of course, no one took on her, they were afraid of the risks. When her 87-year-old daughter came to me in tears, I said that I was not interested in age, what was more important was her psychological state. I arrived at their house, I saw that she was rebelling, all full of energy. He asks how long he will stay in the hospital and curses. I called the anesthesiologist and said that tomorrow we have a girl for surgery, she is 114 years old. He says, what, 14? I say 114. And there’s a pause. Then he confessed to me: he thought he would pick on the tests and everything would be cancelled. But blood, urine, cardiogram - everything was normal. The operation was successful, and already on the fourth day the patient was on her feet with a walker. Afterwards the woman lived another eight years and died at 122 years old. When she was 120, Putin congratulated her. She was shown in Malakhov’s program and newspapers wrote about her. She was born and raised in the mountains.

Goshad a Tsallayeva, the oldest patient in the world to successfully undergo an operation and her doctor

. She lived for three centuries, was born in 1886 and was only 16 years younger than Lenin.

We have submitted an application to the Guinness Book of Records, but the Americans are still thinking. Their doctors' record stood for 47 years; they operated on a 111-year-old man. But our achievement is recorded in the Book of World Records.

— You said that the psychological attitude is very important. That is, it is of primary importance, and not the physiological state of the patient?

- Certainly! It happens that at the age of 60 they break their hip neck and say, leave me alone, I’ll die. And no one can help. Or you start talking to an elderly person, and he already has senile insanity. He cannot say what year it is, what month it is, and he has no sense of time. Then I won't take it on. They can ruin everything for themselves, they can rip off the bandages and cause an infection. And so we took people both after heart attacks and after strokes.

— A documentary film was made about you with the support of the Ministry of Culture. How do you feel about him?

— When they called me to look at the material, the very first frames made me angry. There the patient screams during the operation. And at first I thought, why should I start with this? No one took care of her, she has no kidneys. I had the operation under local anesthesia. She wasn't screaming in pain. When you pass a knitting needle, there is vibration, she was afraid.

By the end of the film, although it was only 36 minutes, it was as if I had watched the whole film, I realized that the main value of this production is that the viewer is tossed and tossed emotionally in all directions. There are tears, and about Beslan, and about the earthquake in Armenia, and about the man whose legs were to be cut off, and at the same time, laughter.

— Do you have followers?

— The value of a doctor lies not only in what he does himself, but also in what his students achieve. I am proud of my guys, among them Ksenia Khashkhozheva, Marat Khashukoev, Daler Sultanbekov. Some have already opened their own clinics. One of them became the best plastic surgeon in the KBR, another became a famous traumatologist, and the third became an outstanding orthopedic traumatologist. Another one is in Moscow now. They don’t know Ilizarov’s apparatus well, because they were at enmity with him. He says that when he operates and puts on a structure, the whole hospital comes to watch. He masterfully learned to do this.

— It turns out that few people in Russia own this technology? She is so well known that I was sure that the process had become commonplace.

— If you compare the Ilizarov apparatus with a piano, then 80% of those who sit down at this instrument play the “Dog Waltz.” To play a serious piece, you need talent. And only people from the Ilizarov school can do this truly professionally. Read people's reviews on my Instagram page, there are also photos of the results. You can't pretend to be nice on the Internet. Although now is the time - even the best doctors write nasty things.

Kazbek Uruskhanovich can sometimes be seen in this form; the surgeon is not averse to singing for his loved ones

— How do you feel about these negative reviews? After all, they still exist.

- Firstly, this is written by people without photos, without names. I don’t think that my patients write nasty things, because not one of them will say that I treated him negligently. Secondly, no doctor has perfect results. I may allow myself this, perhaps blasphemy, but the Almighty makes people and even he makes mistakes. And we are far from gods. And the patient does not always have pure karma. From the height of my years, I began to intuitively feel that it should not reach me yet. And it does not reach the operating table in this case for some external reasons.

- So you see something higher in accidents?

— Yes, a lot of this happened in my practice. One day, a medical student in Nalchik was hit by a jeep and suffered a serious hip fracture. The young guy, an athlete, who was driving, brought her to the hospital and began to take care of her. And three days later he disappeared. It turned out that his dad, a deputy, said, are you crazy, if you pay such attention, then you fully admit your guilt, they will now sit on your head.

Afterwards, the girl and her mother came to me from Nalchik and told this story. I operated on her, everything went well.

Six months pass. One guy comes to see me, so personable, and shows me a photograph. Pelvic fracture and plate on x-ray. He said that it was placed in Germany for his son, saying he didn’t want to “go there”, and they asked him to remove it. I agreed and hospitalized the guy. But what confused me on the X-ray were the very long screws on the bone. I think what kind of German medicine is this. I made a cut, unscrewed the screw, and urine poured out of the hole. That is, the end of the screw was in the bladder. I unscrewed all the screws, invited urologists, and we got him out.

When I left the operating room, I took my father into the office and began to explain what had happened. I say, what kind of idiot do you have to be to screw four-centimeter screws into a centimeter bone? The man is shocked: why is his son unlucky, he hit a girl, and now this is what happens. I say, well, tell me more about the girl. And he told me about the girl I was going out with. And I say, do you know why this is happening to your son, who did this? He was surprised: “Who?!” I say: “You! Here you are in person!” By that time I had already switched to you. He explained that when the guy started caring for the victim, he behaved like a knight, and you convinced her to leave her. And now your son lies on the same bed, in the same ward as the girl he hit. I couldn’t calculate it all, I later found out that it all coincided.

When that patient of mine came for a follow-up appointment, I told her this incident so that she would know that some kind of higher justice exists.

And there were several such cases. One day, after an operation, a girl began to die due to heart problems. I call the ambulance, where my classmate works, a very cool cardiologist, he handles such situations very famously. And the senior doctor on the shift begins to be rude to me and refuses to send this friend of mine to the hospital. I say, what if it was your daughter? And she hangs up. But I contacted him anyway and 15 minutes later he was already with me. The girl was being taken out. I asked what kind of scoundrel works there for him, because she took such a sin upon herself. When a doctor or nurse comes to see me, I receive and consult without waiting in line and for free. And she, the doctor to the doctor, told me this. I wrote down her first and last name in my journal, and I also thought that she had taken on too serious a sin.

Six months later, a girl came to me - her mother had a fracture of the skull and pelvis in four places. I hung up the x-rays and took a closer look at the name on them. He asked what her mother’s job was. He says, the senior shift doctor. I was absolutely stunned. At first, in the first seconds, I thought about giving it up. And then I decided, let me show you how a doctor should treat a doctor. I went to the hospital where she was lying, said, this is my relative, and took her away and operated on her. On the day of discharge, she sits with make-up and poof. He asked how he felt. She says, oh doctor, if it weren’t for you, I would have died. I ask, what do you think of the staff’s attitude? She says I've never seen anything like this. I say, then listen to my story. Exactly six months ago, a girl was dying on this same bed. I called an ambulance, I needed Rosenstein. She says, oh yes, he’s such a smart guy, he works on my shift. I say, do you know what the senior shift doctor did? She hung up and was rude to me. Do you know who it was? And I call her last name. And I say, at that second the car was already moving towards you. As soon as you hung up the phone, you inevitably met each other halfway and for six months you looked for each other. You did this yourself by hanging up.

She says, you understand, the head doctor forbids calling us to the hospital. I replied that I also didn’t have to go to someone else’s hospital and lie to my colleagues that you were my relative. But he did it. I hope this was a lesson to her.

If a doctor thinks that the cure is to screw two bones together correctly, he is not a doctor, he is just a mechanic. The doctor must think in other categories. You need to talk to everyone in their language. I try to write and speak in such a way that anyone can understand me. When a patient comes to see me, I shouldn’t speak Latin to him. A professor comes to see me, I try to talk to him on his level, a bandit comes in, we go crazy. I worked as a karate coach for four years; if an athlete comes in, I speak to him in sports language.

- Don’t tell me that you also have a black belt...

— As coach Miyagi said (Kazbek Uruskhanovich is the father of the famous rap artist MiyaGi), I have a belt so that my pants don’t fall off, and karate should be in my heart. At least in those days I was not afraid of three men. I also studied aikido and, by the way, of all types of martial arts, I consider this the most ingenious invention of man. Don’t use your own strength, but transform your opponent’s linear movement into a rotational one; the harder he rushes at you, the farther he flies. I love all these kotegaeshi and iriminage very much. But aikido is not about self-defense at all. There are no competitions in it, there can only be demonstration performances. Aikido is for life. When a person is rude to you, there is psychological aikido. There is no need to rush at him and use force against force, take a little step to the side and watch how he destroys himself.

Kazbek Kudzaev with his son, popular rap artist MiyaGi

When I came to plastic surgery, I felt that those around me were thinking, here’s another traumatologist. And now these people come to me for master classes to see how I operate.

These stories are not about me being a cool doctor, but about the fact that you shouldn’t be a boor, you should try to do good, not evil.

If this is the principle: if the patient is dissatisfied, the funds spent on the operation must be fully returned. Because no matter how much work you put into aesthetic surgery, the only goal is to get a satisfied patient. If he is dissatisfied, it is a complete failure of your efforts. You did everything in vain and wrong.

“But he may be unhappy because of his psychological problems.”

“If you did everything well, but the patient is dissatisfied because his psyche is disturbed, here too you are to blame, because you did not recognize the mental deviation in the preoperative consultations. This is also your jamb. Because an aesthetic surgeon must be a good psychologist, psychiatrist and psychotherapist.

I always ask the question, why do you want to redo your nose? Is this all you need to be happy? Although many of us got married within a year after rhinoplasty. But this is also a deception to some extent. A man is looking for a life partner with whom he wants to get beautiful and full-fledged offspring. And then he gets a child with a huge nose. The surgeon, of course, benefits, he gets another generation of potential patients. But I often try to dissuade people from surgery.

- If this was successful, do you consider this a victory?

— I advise against up to 20%. And often I even enjoy it more. Many men have a wild fear of silicone, and a girl who decides to enlarge her breasts can ruin her life. One day, my mother brought her daughter, who was studying at the medical academy, and asked for an eyebrow piercing. I know the entire teaching staff of our academy; they would have been kicked out within a year. A future doctor with an eyebrow piercing... I simply kicked her out.

One day two guys came: “Can you break our ears? To be like fighters.” I told them they were just cheap window dressing. You want to show that you are tough without having a hard time in the gym.

Let's get out of here. You are nobody, you are not even men. I got a kick out of kicking them out.

Or the guy who asked to have liposuction on his abdomen to get six-packs. I say, do you think fat cubes are cool? He says why are you refusing, it costs 80 thousand, I’m ready to pay. I replied that I only operate on those whom I respect. But after such a request I had no respect at all.

My favorite saying: “A person’s solvency is not an indication for surgery. Regardless of the amount."

He always tries to be
“on horseback”
- I immediately remembered the “synthol muscleman” Kirill Tereshin, who pumped silicone into his hands. Have you heard about him?

— Not only did I hear, I was invited twice to Malakhov on Channel One so that I could speak on this topic as an expert. Because I have already operated on five or six women from Chechnya, who had Vaseline oil pumped into their breasts and buttocks and disfigured them. These are not doctors, some kind of underground workers. But every time I had a conference abroad, I couldn’t come.

HOW DOCTOR KUDZAEV CHANGES LIVES

The guy began to walk after 22 years of suffering

Fidar Botsoev, a 26-year-old programmer with profound cerebral palsy, found Kazbek Kudzaev on social networks and asked for help. Almost all his life, from the age of four, he had to walk on all fours due to a serious illness associated with a neurological deficit. The pathology of the central nervous system was caused by cerebral hypoxia and birth trauma. It took six operations for Fidar to regain his full height and begin to walk. All of them were done at Kudzaev’s clinic for free.

Such operations, for which patients are not charged, are being performed in private medical institutions more and more often. Doctors can afford to do this thanks to other clients who are willing to pay large sums for aesthetic surgery. In this way, they not only improve their appearance, but also help change the lives of people who do not have the means for the better.

Currently, the clinic has performed more than three thousand free manipulations on patients suffering from cerebral palsy. Only in some cases, when the operation lasts a long time, do they pay for drugs and anesthesia.

Rescued girl dreams of becoming a doctor

At the age of two, Anya (at the request of the characters, the names have been changed) broke her leg. However, after a month in a cast, the fracture still did not heal. The procedure was repeated, the result was the same. The doctors shrugged and advised me to go to Moscow. There, after an examination, it turned out that this was not just a fracture, the girl had a rare congenital disease called “false joint”, in which the bones do not heal for a long time, which ultimately can lead to catastrophic consequences. “The prognosis was unfavorable; the child could be left without a leg,” the mother recalls. “In addition, Anya was diagnosed with a benign tumor. Moscow professors managed to remove it. But the bone still did not heal.

Doctors proposed the newest method - autogenous bone grafting. They took a bone from the girl’s body and inserted it in place of the void. According to doctors' calculations, it should have taken root, but this did not happen. The family traveled to Moscow and back to Stavropol four times to remain under the supervision of doctors in the capital. When we arrived for the last time, Moscow doctors had already thrown up their hands. They gathered a consultation and offered the last chance - vascular surgery. Blood did not flow to the site where the nonunion was located. However, the operation was proposed to be carried out at the discretion of the parents; no one gave high guarantees, since manipulations with blood vessels were very risky.

The family began to look for other methods. We asked a relative from Germany to find out how a similar illness is treated there. But they didn’t give any guarantees either.

“Probably God, seeing my despair, sent me a chance.” I was complaining to a friend when she said: “I heard about this doctor Kazbek Kudzaev in Ossetia. Maybe you should call him? - says Anya’s mother. “I refused for a long time, because the best doctors in the country looked at my baby. But this woman had the gift of persuasion. I called and the doctor invited me to come. He looked and said, yes, everything is clear here. And he promised that if he took up the matter, he would see it through to the end. He said it so confidently that I believed it. And indeed, a month after the operation, Anya began to walk. It seemed to me that I was born again, it was a miracle.

Now the girl is 15 years old, she is in ninth grade, preparing for the Unified State Exam. Wants to go to medical school.

“He says I want, like Doctor Kudzaev, to be smart, to help people, to save lives and health.” We are still in touch with him, we consult when necessary. As he himself says, under his care,” the woman smiles. - He is a real wizard. Apparently, he loves his profession so much that God himself helps him.

Didn't allow amputation of a leg crippled in an accident

In 2004, 18-year-old Aslan Dzusov was in a car accident. Together with a friend, he flew into a power pole. Wires fell on the car and it caught fire. The driver died instantly. Aslan tried to get out of the burning car, but got stuck. He was saved by special forces passing by. But the injuries were terrible: fractures and fourth-degree burns.

The guy spent a month and a half in intensive care. Doctors did not predict whether he would survive at all. In the very first week, after many serious procedures, the question arose about whether to save the victim’s legs. The dead tissue caused severe intoxication of the body, and the kidneys began to fail.

Aslan's relatives turned to Kazbek Kudzaev for help. He arrived and performed the first operation right in the intensive care unit, after which he installed Ilizarov apparatuses. Some of the charred bones were cut off and dead tissue was removed, because they would not have fused.

A month and a half after the operation, Aslan was transferred from intensive care to the burn department. The legs were saved. After this, planned operations began. 14 years have passed, during which time 26 different operations were performed, not only on traumatology, but also on skin grafts, and ligaments were also performed. Due to the difference in leg length, one had to be shortened. It was impossible to stretch the patient, so they decided to shorten the other one. The operation was very serious and took place in two stages.

A year after a terrible car accident, Aslan found his other half

— The doctor works in a private clinic, but not once in all the time has he asked me for money. Everything is absolutely free. We became so close that we communicate like relatives,” the 33-year-old guy told Region Online. — He also has a student Daler Sultanbekov, a traumatologist, who also helped me a lot. We recently went to Gudauri together. They miraculously avoided the emergency that happened there when the cable car broke down. We left at night, and the next day everything happened. Overall, he's a lucky guy. Imagine, I snowboard, drive a car, and walk without crutches. Of course, the consequences remain; movement is limited due to the scars. I can’t move my toes on one leg, and I have knee problems on the other. But I live fully. I work at a polytechnic college as deputy director for production work and teach. I got married and have two children. I have a disability, but I only remember about it when my pension comes. At the sanatorium, when I arrive and the doctors see my legs, they are surprised. They say that from the outside you can’t even tell what you have. All thanks to Kudzaev. It’s not for nothing that people fly to him from all over the world; they know that they can trust him with their lives.
