Spanish body massage. Gentle dance of fingers...

Spanish massage technique

Spanish massage is an eco-complex of special techniques that harmoniously combine a variety of techniques aimed at obtaining deep relaxation and restoring the skin. The founder of this technique is considered to be the Spanish scientist Enrique Garcia. It was he who improved the Chiromassage technique of Dr. Ferrandis. Enrique Garcia developed a new technique at the Institute of Manual Therapy, where it acquired the name “Hemolymphatic Drainage”.

Spanish massage has a specific effect on the venous system and interstitial fluid, which is necessary for the exchange of substances between tissue and blood cells. Despite the fact that Spanish massage is a fairly young system, its techniques are effective.

Myostructural body massage

The technique of myostructural body massage was developed by Spanish professor Enrique Castells Garcia in 2003, who modernized and developed classic Spanish chiromassage.

The main purpose of the procedure:

  • achieve maximum muscle relaxation;
  • relieve spasm and stagnation in tissues;
  • improve metabolic processes.

As a result of the massage, the overall tone and turgor of tissues increases, joint mobility and muscle contractility improve, pain symptoms are eliminated, and the aging process slows down.

Under the influence of massage, metabolic processes in the muscles are activated, the number of capillaries functioning in them increases, muscle elasticity and tone are restored, and contractile function improves. Muscle strength increases, performance increases, and fascia strengthens. The muscles worked during the massage make it easier to perform manual mobilization techniques in the joint area. This makes it possible to relieve spasms and increase the amplitude of their movement, eliminate the wrinkling of joint capsules that occurs during injuries or diseases, reduce periarticular swelling, accelerate the removal of decay products, and prevent the development of the consequences of microtrauma of the joint. Carrying out myostructural body massage provides a gradual impact on each of the body systems, which allows you to achieve significant results after the first procedure. The massage is performed gently, without sudden movements, in comfortable conditions, and is not accompanied by painful sensations for the client.

Seminar program:

  1. Anatomy of muscles and joints.
  2. Theoretical and physiological rationale for massage.
  3. Effective methods of influence for muscle recovery.
  4. A block of work to restore mobility of the joints of the upper shoulder girdle and cervical region.
  5. Mobilization techniques to restore the functioning of the hip, knee and ankle joints.
  6. Practical training.

Having completed myostructural body massage courses, a specialist will be able to solve many problems, including:

  • Relieving muscle spasticity;
  • Strengthening ligaments, capsules and other connective tissues and formations;
  • Restoring the normal function of connective formations and muscles after injuries, including sports ones. This point is especially important for active athletes.
  • Activation of blood circulation and lymph flow, which allows you to speed up metabolism in tissues, enrich cells and tissues with oxygen, nutrients, and remove toxic substances and dead cells.
  • Improving the combustion of subcutaneous fat, reducing excess weight.
  • Getting rid of depression and stress. Restoring normal functioning of the nervous system

To teach myostructural body massage, we accept massage therapists for courses, both without medical education and those who already have medical qualifications. For specialists of any level, training in our courses will provide systematic and extensive knowledge, which will undoubtedly be of great benefit in the individual massage practice of each student.

Massage techniques

  1. It is impossible to use two different techniques in massage, since many combinations have opposite effects.
  2. A variety of techniques that take into account the individual characteristics of the body. In this regard, the massage technique does not cause addiction to the same techniques, which has a positive effect on their effectiveness.
  3. The inadmissibility of painful sensations, which can be achieved thanks to the skill of the massage therapist and his ability to master plastic techniques.

Spanish massage
Basic techniques allow for deep penetration into the tissue. Spanish massage brings not only a healing effect, but also a feeling of joy and pleasure.

Face massage

Spanish facial massage is especially valued for muscle relaxation. This can be achieved thanks to the variety of techniques and atmosphere of the session. Lightly stroking movements are replaced by rubbing using the palm and back of the hand. These techniques include intensity and painlessness, as well as a relaxing effect on all muscle groups. Massage helps improve blood supply to tissues, outflow of venous blood and lymph drainage. All this has a positive effect on the texture and color of the skin, increases its elasticity, smoothes wrinkles and relieves puffiness around the eyes.

After the Spanish massage sessions, the oval of the face is tightened and the contour is modeled, which includes:

  • lip enlargement;
  • upper eyelid lifting and eyebrow shaping;
  • smoothing the nasolabial fold area;
  • reducing the number of wrinkles.

With obvious signs of sagging and atony, Spanish massage helps rejuvenate the neck and décolleté.

Body massage

Spanish body massage is based on several unique techniques. Myostructural massage technique allows you to work even at the most distant tissue levels - tendons, bones, joints.

The goal of this technique is maximum muscle relaxation and improvement of metabolism in the body. After myostructural massage, muscle function improves, pain symptoms decrease, and the aging process slows down. This massage technique uses relaxing techniques that restore muscle elasticity.

Spanish massage

  1. Biovascular massage technique helps eliminate problems associated with vascular insufficiency. In addition, it solves the problems of the venous parts of the drainage system.
  2. Anti-cellulite massage technique corrects subcutaneous tissue and local skin changes.
  3. Somatoemotional massage technique strengthens the nervous system.
  4. Lymphatic drainage massage technique is used when it is necessary to remove excess fluid and food from tissues.
  5. Hemolymphatic massage technique is most often used to relieve stress, apathy and irritability. In addition, it is aimed at reducing blood pressure.
  6. Neurosedative massage techniques are also used for high irritability and prolonged stress, which subsequently develop into chronic fatigue. This method is based on stimulation of brain centers that cause deep relaxation. The result of neurosedative massage is a decrease in the activity of the dominant hemisphere and the release of endorphins, which have an anti-stress effect.

In addition to cosmetic effects, Spanish massage also has a therapeutic effect:

  • reduction of swelling;
  • stress relief;
  • decrease in blood pressure.

It is not recommended to use Spanish massage for acute diseases, neoplasms and skin diseases.

Spanish body massage: what is the essence?

Spanish body massage is one of the most popular and sought-after massage techniques in Europe, and is also well known in Russia.
The author of Spanish massage, naturopath and physiologist Vicente Ferrandis Garcia, created his technique about a hundred years ago. Garcia himself called it “chiromassage” (from the Greek chiro - “hand, manual”), but it gained fame and popularity under the name “Spanish massage”. The uniqueness of Spanish body massage lies in the fact that Garcia managed to organically intertwine the Western approach to massage (namely, impeccable knowledge of the physiology of the human body, the basics of medicine and anatomy) and ancient Eastern practices, in which a fundamental place is given to qi energy. The author of chiromassage was convinced that it was the notorious vital energy qi, which permeates all living things, that is the main stimulus in the process of self-healing. Proper body massage can activate this energy in the human body.

Spanish body massage immediately affects four main systems of our body: muscles, joints, blood and lymph, and the nervous system. Garcia himself said: “These four systems are like four different doors opening into the same room.” He meant that in order to have the maximum healing effect during a Spanish body massage, you can use techniques that affect one of these four systems - the master himself must choose the most adequate path. It is advisable to work with one patient by influencing the lymph flow, with another by massaging the muscles, and so on. Each client has his own approach.

Who is myostructural massage recommended for?

Myostructural massage is recommended for people who want to lose weight without dieting, as well as for women struggling with cellulite and wanting to shape their figure. Thanks to special techniques, myostructural massage works to correct problem areas such as the hips, abdomen, lumbar area, riding breeches, and buttocks. A massage course usually consists of 6-12 sessions. Maximum results can be seen two weeks after the entire course is completed. Women are recommended to start a course of myostructural massage only after the end of the menstrual cycle.

What is the essence of this procedure

Many effects on the skin, whether chemical or mechanical, often eliminate only the effect, while the cause itself remains unaffected, as a result of which the visible problem may reappear after some time. The Spanish massage technique allows you to get to the very root of the problem and successfully eliminate it. We are talking about the effect on the body at the cellular level, which ensures the normalization of intercellular processes responsible for the condition of the skin.

This technique is young, by the standards of cosmetology, it is no more than 30 years old. It was developed by the Spanish manual therapy specialist Enrique Castells García, the name of the technique is determined precisely by the origin of the founder, and this is where the connection with Spain ends.

This massage combines techniques from Eastern cultures such as Indian massage, yoga, Buddhist spiritual practice, etc. Garcia managed to successfully combine these areas, as a result of which Spanish facial massage has more than 100 different movements, none of which are repeated. There are many videos on the Internet illustrating this type of massage session, so you can clearly see a huge number of different movements.

This type of massage is also called modeling, since with its help you can provide your facial skin with significant changes for the better. It returns its former elasticity, lost due to age-related changes, normalizes the oval of the face if its contours have become unclear, helps get rid of excess fluid, and as a result, eliminates “bags” under the eyes. The first positive changes are observed after the first session, all subsequent procedures bring the result to the final one and help consolidate it. Therefore, it is not surprising that this technique has become very popular and has acquired an impressive list of positive reviews.
