In total, more than 4 thousand members of professional public organizations, scientists and university teachers, heads of healthcare institutions, specialists from many regions of our country, as well as countries near and far abroad, gathered here.

The events started at the Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology - there were pre-courses by plastic surgeon Arthur Rybakin “Secondary rejuvenation of the face and body” and cosmetologist from Italy Alessio Redaelli “Dysport, fillers and medical rhinoplasty”. Well, the work ended with a round table at the Pushkin Museum. Pushkin, where guests not only spoke on professional topics, but also visited the exhibition “Picasso & Khokhlova”.

In just three days of the congress, more than 40 sessions and 23 master classes were held, including those conducted directly from operating rooms thanks to an organized live broadcast.

Pirogov, National Alliance of Dermatologists and Cosmetologists, Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SEM), Society of Aesthetic Medicine Specialists (OSEM) with the assistance of the Interregional Public Organization of Botulinum Therapy Specialists.

Toward the technologies of the future

As part of the congress, an open meeting of the specialized commission in the specialty “plastic surgery” was held, where current changes in medical organizations were discussed in connection with the approval of the new Procedure for the provision of medical care in plastic surgery.

In addition, the congress provided a platform for a meeting of heads of plastic surgery departments, where the upcoming educational standard for a 5-year residency was actively discussed.

The event will also be remembered by its participants for the competition of young scientists and the V All-Russian competition “Parade of Clinics”, which clearly demonstrated the experience of bringing to life the advanced capabilities of aesthetic medicine. The winner in the “Best Clinic” category was the Center for Aesthetic Cosmetology and Medicine “Astrea” from Cheboksary.

But, of course, the greatest interest and heated discussions were aroused by the presented promising directions for the development of plastic surgery and future technologies, as well as current cosmetological techniques and the possibilities of their combined use, demonstrating the close relationship of all specialties.

More than 4,000 thousand plastic and maxillofacial surgeons, otorhinolaryngologists, ophthalmic surgeons, combustiologists, orthopedic traumatologists, oncologists, gynecologists, urologists, neurologists, anesthesiologists, dermatovenerologists and cosmetologists will take part in the Congress.

The program of the IX National Congress “Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetology” will be submitted for accreditation in the CME (continuing medical education) .
