Adding shine to lips

Let's open the original image.

Let’s create a new layer by clicking on the second icon from the right in the “Layers” palette.

Select the Pen Tool (P) in Paths mode.

And create the contour of the lips. If you are not yet very confident in using this Photoshop tool, then I recommend looking at the article “All about working with the pen.”

Set up the brush (B). Set the hardness to about 75%, and leave the rest of the brush parameters at default. Set the brush size so that it is slightly larger than the size of the previously created outline. For the foreground color, set the color to approximately the same as the girl’s lips, maybe a little darker, it’s up to your taste.

Let’s go to the “Contours” palette, right-click on the work path and in the list that appears, select the “Stroke path” option.

Set the blending mode for the top layer to “Soft Light” (you can try another contrast mode) and reduce the opacity of the top layer to the required degree (in your opinion).
